Summer's over and the Degrassi kids are back…in droves. A neighbouring high school has been amalgamated with the Junior High and things are a bit of a zoo.
Degrassi alumni Joey Jeremiah and his small daughter Angela are objects of someone's attention. Someone who is spying on them - and taking photographs… It turns out to be Craig, Joey's stepson, who’s charming, mysterious - and intriguing, especially to Emma. Although Craig’s father, Albert, has forbidden him to make contact with Joey and Angela, Craig can't seem to stop himself, even when his father’s unpredictable rages leave him black and blue.
Craig is good at covering up both his physical and his emotional bruises, but his new friends, Sean and Emma, suspect something's up. Joey is sympathetic to Craig's feelings towards Angela but when Craig's behaviour threatens his daughter's well being Joey has to draw the line.
JT’s a man on a mission: this year, he's going to land an older woman. And his chosen challenge? Paige Michalchuk. When her friends offer her a bet - enough cash to get her hair fixed - she puts on her nice face and agrees to go out with JT. It's score one for JT, who’s the envy of all the other guys - until he finds out he's the butt of a bad joke.
