"2 years ago, Haiti was struck by a devastating earthquake. Although, the rebuilding is underway, the Haitian communities are still in a state of disarray. 13 members of the Degrassi cast, along with Free the Children, travel to Haiti and experience the destruction first hand. During the casts' one week in Haiti, they live with locals of a small rural village, put on day camps for orphan's and they help build a playground for the children. They left not only a playground to foster fun, but they left smiles on the kid's faces, and they created memories and friendships that will last a lifetime."
Pleasepleaseplease excuse the random parts where the video chops up and the quality randomly changes from high to very low and vice versa. Much Music was being weird.

I cried when Melinda spoke about the little blind and deaf boy. Sometimes we really do take things to granted.

Melinda made me cry when she started crying :( Im happy that Degrassi actually cares about people, and arent like some TV stars that are more concerned about their low carb soy latte rather than helping people. Love degrassi

you're not the only one. Me and my sister were crying and i'm not the kind of person that cries alot but to see this, especially since I'm haitian and i'm really glad that my family members were okay, it's just sad to see other people suffering.

i offishaly love degrassi, not only is their show so relatable, and awesome, but they ACTUALLY WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE, not even disney shows do that, and other much shows like vampire diaries, pretty little liars, and the rest.

At the end I couldn't help but laugh even though I was crying. And I think they made the documentary to show people what it's like over there. And i think they brought Degrassi over there to inspire us to do things to help. Like with commercials having celebrity endorsements.

Then why are you so against the video? It's for an organization. Not everybody has the time and/or the money to go there. To me this video showed me what it was like. I will proudly help this wonderful organization. (And it is two thousand dollars for a round trip to Africa.)

i agree! Its nice to help out. but think about how the people feel getting filmed in their lowest times they don't like the fact that people are filming and going home and showing people this. If it was out of the goodness of your heart it wouldn't need to be documented.

But, would you go to Haiti yourself and see this with your own eyes? I don't know about you, but I have no money to take a round trip to Africa. It's about $2,00 dollars. I would know, because my family is African. The whole entire point of this video is to show people that in places all over the world, people aren't as lucky as us to even have a computer to make a comment on youtube. Feed the Children is a great organization. Making a video like this shows you why you should help.

I think you could be right but your not they might be showing this video so people no what to do to help and how a little bit makes a diffrence yea they a filming and stuff but that does help those kids i bet at least 1 person who saw this is going to do something about it and that person is going to change some ones life and it would be all because of this video

I have no idea what you're talking about. 1st off Haiti isn't in Africa...? its 4 hours away from Miami. and to answer your question yes I have been there. and I didn't spend $2,000 on a plane ticket it was more like $300.

i feel sorry for you bc u seem really naive. 1st off no KZfaq video is going to actually show you what a country is really like, its a publicity stunt. 2nd why are u bringing up Africa? this video is about Haiti which ISN'T in Africa If your Family is African you should know that. 3rd i don't know how much it cost to go to Africa i have never been there, but its cost 300 for a plane ticket to Haiti. everything you're saying is irrelevant and if you wanna give your money to them gooo ahead.
