Yeah, the woman should have broken it down better for her...she should have said, 'Try to put on a front, as though you don't care, like it didn't hurt, kind of deadpan/indifferent/nonchalant, but let it shine through that it did hurt.' Regardless, Stacey performed great both times, especially that 2nd time, so even though she communicated as though she was confused, her acting that second time came across as she did understand what the casting agent meant.

people are completely missing the mark with adamo’s reading. he and jake said the same monologue but jake was reading as craig and adamo was reading as marco, even if it was written for craig.

No, he was auditioning for the part of Craig here. So this was his portrayal of Craig.
