Darrian2021 yeah but I like that after season one they made hey character just like everyone else and gave her side plots/main plots instead of just main, because even though I love her she was taking up a lot of screen time in season 1 I think Frankie is going to take the main protagonist role now, for only 2 seasons though

They've alluded to Cam several times. She just mentioned him in Season 3. His name didn't have to be said. Maya says her boyfriend killed himself. That's enough closure for a character only 3 people left on the show even knew.

Josh Ekong Ikr. Cleary, even Olivia mentions a bit here, that Cam is really the root of her depression. After Cam committed suicide, Maya never was the same person again. I was expecting throughout these 4 seasons for Maya to just realize how much of an impact Cam had on her life

She literally DID. Did you even WATCH the 4 seasons? Even before Next Class, Maya was going down a downward spiral after Cam committed suicide. They alluded to Cam several time in Next Class and in season 3 they mentioned him. Did y'all want them to say his name?Because that's not needed to have an impact.

In season 11 i was cool with them getting together, it seemed like they would, but then he turned into a complete jerk. Zig cheated on her w/Zoe and then blamed it on Maya because he was just jealous?? Like wtf, and Maya put her music before Zig and Zig got mad over that like damn. He also almost raped Maya like when they were about to have sex Maya kept telling him no and he wasn't going to stop until Maya had to physically make him stop. Even they first hooked up, they were on drugs.
