Dehancer Pro is a plugin that can be used to emulate film look on your footage. It is available for Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro X, and DaVinci Resolve. I will talk through how I use Dehancer Pro in Adobe Premiere, but this still applies to other editing software.
This is the easiest way I know how to use Dehancer Pro, and hope this helps you in your workflow as well!
There are many different settings that you can adjust in Dehancer Pro. These settings allow you to control the look and feel of your footage. Some of the most important settings include:
Film Stock: This setting allows you to choose from a variety of different film stocks, each with its own unique look and feel.
Look: This setting allows you to apply a pre-defined look to your footage.
Grain: This setting allows you to add film grain to your footage.
Bloom: This setting allows you to add a bloom effect to your footage.
Halation: This setting allows you to add a halation effect to your footage.
Once you have adjusted the settings to your liking, you can render and export your footage like you would any other project.
Dehancer Pro can be a powerful tool for creating cinematic looks in your footage. With a little practice, you can use it to create stunning visuals that will take your footage to the next level.

Hi ! Tanks for this video. My problem is when i put the effect in the adjustment layer or direct in the rush it doesn't function. All the rush is cuting (bug). Do you have the reason why ? And the solution if its possible 🙏

This plugin is very computer intensive. To prevent buggy playback I would use proxies to work off of. Google proxies adobe premiere pro and you should find some. Cheers!

When i use this plugin its give big size grains looks fake how to fix this?

You can change the grain size in the noise tab of the plugin.

Hey dude. I've got a bit of an issue with dehancer, hoping you would know why it's happening. So when I apply Dehancer to the clip and make all the personal adjustments it works fine but then I press play and for some reason the look completely changes. It keeps switching to a different look like for a split second everytime I make any adjustment. Not sure if I'm clear enough....would you know why it's happening?

Seems like the preview doesn’t match the playback. My guess is that you have playback resolution on a lower quality. It should say “Full” in the playback dropdown menu on the corner of the playback monitor. It might say 1/2, 1/4 or 1/8 if this is happening. Otherwise I’m not sure. Good luck

make sure you turn of proxies if you are previewing it when the proxie is on that might be the issue. best of luck
