We were given the once in a lifetime opportunity to join Rave Rhino Project on a medical dehorning procedure, which is now regarded as the safest temporary measure.
Lawrence Reed and his team from Rave Rhino Project teamed up with Ryan Van Deventer who is a skilled Wildlife Vet and he has been with Rave Rhino and the animals since 2014 and helped them every step of the way. Without this formidable duo, the sponsorships and all the volunteers none of this would be possible and our wildlife would be at an even greater risk.
To note: Lawrence Reed and his team from Rave Rhino Project not only protect all the rhinos at Tala Collection Game Reserve, but also assist in procedures through many reserves across the country.
The Des Sol team would like to thank Rave Rhino Project, Tala Game Reserve and all the volunteers for all the hard work you guys do, it is truly humbling to witness how much effort and passion you put into protecting these animals.
