its best to blanch raw slices or shreds a couple 2-3 min before dehydrating, otherwise when rehydrate taste like uncooked, raw sw.potatoes...flavor is enhanced by precooked or blanching

I was also curious whether or not you prep the sweet potatoes first? I have heard with regular potatoes you have to blanch them in order to remove excess starch or they can turn black. I know some people completely cook sweet potatoes, turn them into a mash, and then dehydrate them. Yours look like they came out perfect
