Deià is the dreamiest little town in Mallorca, Spain.
Surrounded by the Sierra de Tramuntana mountains, Deia is immersed in nature and the stone paved streets and houses give it a romantic aura. The little town is known worldwide because author Robert Graves was the first foreigner to settle here, opening the way to many including Michael Douglas.
Robert Grave’s house was converted into a museum and can now be visited.

Deia is at a 40 minutes drive away from Palma de Mallorca. Close to the coast, it is located between the towns of Valldemossa and Port de Soller so it can be reached from both in 20 minutes. The drive itself is scenic and breathtaking.
A great itinerary would be to start from Palma de Mallorca and visit both Valldemossa and Deia, then finish the day on Cala Deia, Deia’s own little beach.

CALA DEIA
