today we want to present you „Over And Done“, the bitter song about the end of a love, in the live version for orchestra and band.
Here, too, we worked without the hard computer beats of the album version and interpreted the song, similar to our acoustic shows. The first two verses are accompanied exclusively by the band. After the solo part of our fabulous cellist B.Deutung and the third verse, the orchestra gradually joins in to a great final intensification, while the repeated "Over And Done" by Alexander Veljanov and the band musicians Ivee Leon and Katharina Garrard forms a resigned counterpoint.

Mein erstes DL Konzert war am 20.04.2005, kurz nach dem der neue Papst ernannt wurde. Ich erinnere mich noch genau daran wie zu diesem Lied das Stroboskoplicht flackerte und wie die immer wiederkehrenden Zeilen "Dead and frozen my heart" und "your hand in my hand and my hand in your hand" den ganzen Raum erschlugen. Manche Besucher vorne links haben getanzt, aber die meisten Leute um mich herum, vorne rechts, standen in Verzückung einfach nur da und haben das ganze auf sich wirken lassen. Werde diesen Moment hoffentlich niemals vergessen! (nach der Zugabe gab es noch "habemus papam" mit kostenloser Segnung)
