Herbert had a broken rib since week 2 this season and they got bounced by the Jags in the wildcard. Burrow missed his rookie season with a broken leg. We don’t even have to discuss Watson’s legal situation. Kyler is notorious for being injured in the second half of the season. We don’t even know if Tua is mentally capable of playing the sport anymore. Josh Allen has a UCL injury that could forever change his career and takes MORE punishment than Lamar. Dak has been injured the last 2-3 seasons. Matthew Stafford missed this entire season and is looking at retirement from his injury. My point is injuries was never a debate for these QBs and they ALL have gotten or are about to receive extremely lucrative contracts with the same or worse injury history excluding maybe Tua with completely different playing styles. I also haven’t seen any QB prove to be good in the postseason besides Mahomes and Burrow so that’s a mute point. Those two are the only ones who I see consistently getting the job done so by your logic they should be the only two getting paid. You can’t even say Hurts should be paid cause this is his first season of production. Football is a violent sport and men get injured. That’s a terrible point to make when the league suffers injuries. Also the Ravens aren’t even attempting to establish a passing game cause they haven’t looked into getting competent receivers. So he should take the offer that's on the table from the Ravens or negotiate a trade to a team that will pay him more. There really aren't any other options.
