While the transfer portal buzz has simmered down for the most part, a recent entry should have the ears of Colorado fans perking up. Maryland linebacker Fa'Najae Gotay who is a seventh year player entered his name into the portal. He does everything well that Colorado needs, which is stopping the run and rushing the passer. He is also from the state of Florida, which we all know Deion Sanders likes.

What about Wade and Webb Walker aren't they LB's..i think there is more depth than you think..Not sure I'd use a Scholarship on a player who is transfering for 7th year..I'd wonder why he's transferring with that much expierence at a school..Brown looks ready to suprise..Wade did play in SEC.Greene.Wester were productive.Bently will benifit from D'line play.i do like the Hood kid was 7a defensive player of the year in Alabama..Goldberg hopefully works hard helps push in practice.

They run a 4-2-5 so they don't have to be deep at LB

The portal is closed as far as jumping in but not for getting players out of the portal. Remember, there are players stuck in the portal because they haven't been picked up for some reason or another. That's why prime is saying have a plan because you can jump in portal and stay there.
