No they didn’t. They had a game like this against TCU which is considered to be a better opponent. They should have blown this team out. I understand stand everyone wants to see them succeed (me included) but you still have to be objective.. They need to be able to establish and stop the run against better teams it else they are done. QB needs to get rid of the ball quicker and take more shots down the feels earlier in games. They shouldn’t have been in double OT with a lesser talented team with the amount of penalties and turn overs they had. I’m not confident against Oregon.

But the thing that keeps me believing is that this team is so unpredictable, and I truly believe we have yet to see just how good these boys can really play. Every game there’s been moments of greatness, but they just can’t seem to put it all together in one game yet.

deion made a great chess move havin brady train/mentor shedeur. the results showed heavily on that 98 yard drive in the 4th. ik technically shedeur has a INT on his stats now but tbh if u saw the play it wasnt really a true INT. all in all he is still flawless throwin the football 💯

How big was Joe Montana? And that was when you could hit the QB. I just want all of these kids to learn the knees over toes guy flexibility and strengthen through the range of motion drills like Steph Curry did. Technically he did put on muscle but it was effective and efficient muscles. Not just bench and squat. He appears to have excellent core strength and lithe flexibility in the upper torso for throwing. I want to see him pull a Larry Bird and play a game with his off hand. Flip the whole thing and make all the film study doubled.

Taking the ball in ot was a head scratcher for me too but I understood the brilliance of the move after the first series. Normally you have about the same confidence in your offense and defense so play defense first. But if you’re 95% sure your offense will score and your only 20% sure your defense will stop them, put the offense out first. This takes the pressure off the defense because they know they can’t lose the game. They can only win it which they eventually did

9:30 - What is very ominous is that Coach Prime made a ‘Poker’ reference the DAY BEFORE the game happened in a speech to his players. God is really working through that man and the entire program.

This game was only close because Travis was intentionally hurt. When he was in the game defense got a pick six. He shuts down CSUs best receiver, forcing QB to hold longer, gives D line extra time. Removing Trav changed the team.
