He not wrong. Back in the day baby showers were attended by women only. It is the generations that have changed what a baby shower is all about. If you don't believe me ask your grandmother if she is over 60 or 79 years old. Baby showers are all about the mother ti be which is a woman. Old school is not dead yet.
