Hi, Helder! Thanks for watching! I didn't really notice a huge difference, but I primarily monitor my mic from my computer's output. Either way, I didn't really think the mic monitoring sounded "horrible". Great question though! Thanks again for watching!

Thank you for this video! I just bought this microphone and it works great for me with my computer. But it doesn't respond at all when I connect it to my cell phone (Android) what could be the reason for this?

Hi! Thanks so much for watching! I love this mic too and use it for all my videos. However, I've never tried it with a cell phone or an Android device. I don't have an Android either so I can't troubleshoot your issue unfortunately. But I think this issue could be in the cable you're using to connect to your device. What app do you use after plugging into computer? How do you get the recorded content afterwards? Every tutorial seems to omit this part 😏

Hi! Thanks for watching! I use Garageband. It's a DAW, which stands for Digital Audio Workstation. It's an audio production software or platform designed for the recording, editing, mixing, and mastering of digital audio files. If you don't have a Mac you can try ProTools, Audacity, Ableton Live, etc. Hope that helps!

I bought this microphone and everytime I start up my computer the microphone is off, and I have to unplug and plug it back in for it to work normally. Any ideas on why this is happening? I've tried updating drivers, and changing usb ports and usb cords. No luck

Hey! Thanks for watching! That's a new issue to me. Have you made sure that your mic input settings are set to the Deity mic? If the problem persists, I'd try restarting my computer and seeing if a fresh reboot solves the problem. If not, I'd reach out to Deity to see if they have any recommendations. But it sounds like n audio settings issue to me. Let me know what you find and thanks for watching! :)

mic doesnt fit my boom arm that has a 3/8 mount. any help?

Hi! Thanks for watching! That is very strange because the mic natively supports 3/8" and 5/8" mounts. I would test other mics on the mount to make sure it fits correctly. If so, then I would reach out to Deity and tell them about the issue. It should connect to a 3/8" mount.

Will work for a while then has a 1 second delay making it impossible to record. may have gotten a lemon.

Hi! Thanks for watching. I use it on Garageband exclusively and just used it throughout my entire tutorial I just filmed and never had any issues with the mic or playback. There may be a connection issue with your cable. I would try restarting your computer and using a different cable. Also, is your Garageband and OS up to date? If you are using outdated versions, that may cause issues with playback as well. Either way, I recommend trying those out before saying the mic doesn't work. Thanks for watching and good luck!

@@blogwithben Then I guess I got a lemon, I will contact them Monday if tech support is open. I tried it on 2 different computers and both have the same problem. some times i get through the first track but by time I get too the 2nd and 3rd tracks it starts to lag about a one or 2 seconds randomly. Thanks for getting back to me. I will edit comment. I tried a different AKG mic today on my computer and it worked fine, went back to Deity and the same thing happend.🤔

@@blogwithben I communicated with B&H Photo and traded in the mic for a new one. They were easy to deal with and quick to get me the new one but I am still having the same problem. I did find out that it works fine on audacity but not on Garage Band. I have a request in to Deity but its a big company and They keep saying they will get back to me, I'll be patient. In the meantime I just ordered a Motu M4 and will use the xlr mics I have. I'll keep you posted.
