Was great to see the cocky kid being schooled by a veteran. Saying that, if he learns and improves, the kid can be a pretty good fighter in the future.

@@manteiv I have seen him behind the scene when he was fighting in the smaller organisation, and he's like super cocky lol. He was fighting a real seasoned vetaren this time, coming into a big organisation this time and he knew that, so he was just smart to be behave. He fought someone I know, he was acting like McGregor at the weigh in, and just before the fight provoking. This fight was a good lesson. He has potential, but he still has a long way to go.

@sօʊʟʄʊʟ saռʝօ🗿⁹⁶ yeah, he's flashy and likes put up a fashion swag, but to be honest he's not cocky, the words he said on the intro are usually told to speak in a "i will defeat you for sure" format by the PR, same goes for everyone else. But maybe that impression people have about him is from the contrast of a lot less flashy and humble background of uncle Dej hahaha

Banma just lack of experience banma wanted to fight in the centre of the ring but dej was running whenever he was on the outercage side whilst banma stood his ground Good Job Banma, Banma even never attacked him when dej hot the ground shows how much respect he had for the old star

In terms of technique, conditioning and overall fight strategy Dej was light years ahead and Dej was totally respectful for not landing a few more before the ref stopped the fight. Banma only has half decent hands and speed, he needs a trainer that can give him all the tools for MMA.

There's a documentary about Banma. He's overcome a lot of hardship in his life coming from the poorest part of China and getting free training. It's amazing he's made it this far at all to be honest. Most other fighters are training with top level trainers.

He did pretty damn well in the first round. He was piecing up the Thai fighter. It's obvious he's also a striker, and a damn good one too. Unfortunately the kid fought one of the world's best, and still made it competitive.

Dej is a legend no doubt. I like banma he is a warrior , its his debut so it would have been better if he chooses an easy fight for him to look good since he still a rookie yet he choose a beast though old dej is still a monster don't let the age and height difference fool you , banma and his team should've been smart on this I feel sorry for the kid he got talent, he lost cuz their team underestimated dej, I hope the kid use this as a learning experience and do better be smarter next time hope he won't be discourage for the loss

I didnt know either fighter. When watching battleground3, during the promo package, when Dej said he was gonna "show him muay thai " (something to that effect) i knew it was gonna get real for the young guy. Theres potential there for him imo

@@restricttheopennotes dejdamrong is a legend, theres tons of video on youtube of his fights. Bear in mind, most thai fighters usually have 100+ professional fight record. They start young.

Young kid has promos, but leaves himself way too open and doesn't have a good mixup game. You can't keep head hunting while your body is getting broken down. You're just praying at that point.
