Abu Huraira reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “O Allah, do not turn my grave into an idol that is worshiped. Allah has cursed people who take the graves of their prophets as places of worship.” Source: Musnad Aḥmad 7352 “Verily, when a righteous man among them would die, they would build a place of worship over his grave and carve these images within it. They will be the worst to Allah (Lord Almighty) on the Day of Resurrection.” (Bukhari 427) Aap(SallAllahu Alaihi wasallam) ne Ali ibn Abu Talib(ra) se farmaya: Jo koi Mujassama dekho toh use MITAA do, koi UNCHI QABAR dekho toh use BARABAR kardo.
