Hello friends, As Diwali approaches the mood in each home is festive and joyous. And our home is no different. We feel like eating some nice chatpata food and having some fun along with it. So today we decided to make the delicious Pani Puri at home and challenge each other. The challenge was to eat more Pani Puri's than the other. So Lataa makes this wonderful Pani Puri Recipe and along with that some great sweet chutney. So the Pani Puri Challenge was on. Food Challenge is always fun as long as the food is yummy and doesn't spoil your stomach. Pani Puri is known by various names like Fuchka or Puchka in Bengal, Gol Gappe in the North and Pani Puri else where. Be whatever the name this dish is just irresistible and lipsmacking. The spicy and tangy water and the sweet chutney and stuffing that goes into crisp Puri's just makes up a delightful dish. For Tangy and Spicy water
Cold water as required
Tamarind a handful
Mint leaves a handful
Coriander leaves a handful
Green chillies As required
Ginger 2 Inch
Cumin Powder 3 tsp
Black salt 3 tsp
Hing/ Asafoetida a pinch
Ice as required
For sweet chutney
Jaggery 2 cups
Red chilli powder 1 tsp
Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Dry Ginger powder 2 tsp
For Stuffing
Boiled potatoes
Boiled sprouts
Salt as per taste
Chaat masala
