Deku Loses One for All Forever… But | My Hero Academia’s Ending Explained

My Hero Academia 425, MHA 426 Spoilers, My Hero Academia 426 Spoilers, Deku vs Shigaraki, Shigaraki Dies, Deku Loses One for All, MHA, Dabi vs Shoto Reaction
During the final battle of My Hero Academia we see Deku needing to find SOME way to break through Shigaraki’s inner defenses and he accomplishes this by using One for All as a weapon itself, firing off the individual quirk users into Shigaraki’s Spirit with punch after punch, as they hit Shigaraki’s core like missiles shattering his defenses. After Deku gets through this mental barrier he spends a little time in Shigaraki’s memories and eventually even meets the Crying Tenko inside him that he saw back during the War Arc when they last fought, however ultimately after coming out of this vision All for One ends up taking complete control over Shigaraki causing him to do one final attack that Deku and Shigaraki counter with a well placed punch towards All for One at the same time that the Vestiges All took Part in aswell. We end things off with a fist bump between Shigaraki and Deku, however for this plan to Work Deku had to give away ALL of One for all including Yoichi the first user, so now with only the embers of One for All Left in his body, Deku’s days as a hero are numbered, something that everyone around him understands because of how open he’s become about his quirk, and something that if it isn’t fixed within the next few epilogue chapters, could certain bring Deku’s story full circle as the boy who was born without a quirk, earned one from his idol, just to lose it in sake of completing his master’s mission. @@PichuStardust Yes this would be excellent. The stockpiled quirks are gone but the base remains. But Deku decides that the quirk will never be passed onto a quirked person since it will reduce their lifespan and only pass it to a quirkless person. So, OFA will only accumulate the strengths of the previous users and no more quirks or something like that.

When you become a hero, the only thoughts that would linger would be retiring and having known you've fulfilled a purpose among countless ones or dying with everything you've got just to create a purpose. When One for All finally died doing its purpose, it created newer ones, with one of them being the future.

i honestly hope deku isnt quirkless at the end of the story because i feel that would be a very dissapointing ending for deku story after how hard he work to master ofa and him no longer being able to achieve his dream not to metion it would put him at a disavantage on the field even with amour llke the iron might suit i mean he does have the embers which could mean the full ofa quirk could be dormiant at the moment untill the quirk fully reforms and return back to it original glory and the emphaises on the bloody fist bump must be setting up for some big twist with deku getting back stockpile and the other quirks minus the power to transfer ofa we will have to wait and see how the story plays out, im just hoping that will get a satiyfing end to mha

I know I may sound like a broken record, but this just does not seem like a good ending. Everything still feels like it’s been rushed like people are saying that this is a phenomenal chapter. I just am not seeing it. Maybe I’m missing some context I don’t know, but this is really not a good way to end the series.

@@akio7994 in my personal opinion I feel like some characters during this arc just legitimately got screwed LIKE HORRIBLY SCREWED Stars and stripe for example strongest hero in America comes to Japan immediately gets bodied WTF LIKE THE FUCK And in my personal opinion, I just didn’t really think Deku it’s a really good character for this series. At first he was OK but lately into this current chapter that’s different and my reasoning is I feel like he didn’t lose enough. He’s going back to pretty much where he started. It just doesn’t sit right with me. I can’t exactly put into words, but I really just feel like a lot of characters got rushed severely and he’s one of the characters that lines up. I feel like this could’ve gone different routes and probably ended with a much more end all ending I also believe a lot of characters didn’t have the chance to really shine. One of those is my favorite girl Toga ( I DONT WANT TO HEAR IT I LIKE HER FUCK OFD ) And there are a few other characters that I feel like either didn’t do much or just barely had the limelight before they got shoved to the side seeing what’s going on with SHOTO and his family more then this first with deku because at least with those characters, they’re more flushed out and they have more to lose that’s why I believe this conclusion to the series is fucking stupid.. (Please note that I don’t watch a ton of anime before my hero. If this is a bad I don’t care this is how I see it.)

I think deku will have a new quirk from the foreshadowing. When they first said OFA was growing, then fast forward to the first user saying deku transferred the quirk in a way it was still intact to "complete" one for all the way it was meant to be(with the word complete in a bold font). Then in the picture of deku and shiggy fist bump that last time being pointed out I definitely think Deku is going to have a completed new form of one for all where he has to either rebuild it as his own quirk or it will be a stronger version of the previous OFA.

I have a feeling that the mha series might take a twist on how the story ends. Like in the one of the movies deku gave ofa to bakugo but ended up being borrowed. SO, I think somewhere along the way towards the end of the story the author will work out a way for ofa to be restored. Like how when we thought kurama died and was reincarnated inside of himawari. Yes that actually happened in the boruto manga

First I saw of relationship growth was “Banished from the hero’s party so I live a quiet life” where you can see the MC and the main love interest actually become closer and progress. Their first kiss scene was so beautiful and it wasn’t over hyped and it kept going as episodes progress :)

OFA is a very weird quirk tho. If it's just a non-stealing version of AFO. Shouldn't the user lose the quirk immediately after giving it, it shouldn't work like a battery right. Who knows, maybe he didn't lose OFA after all, maybe the "embers" is just a psychological thing.

I like to believe that if he was able to adapt his body to withstand one for all, he’ll likely still be insanely physically capable

I know it's unlikely that he would keep the quirk but I really do wish he would be able to keep it. Some cop out story of "well he didn't pass it on like All Might did, he just passed the souls on" technicality. But honestly that'd probably be more disappointing than him actually losing the quirk.

To me personally i get the the idea of him losing his quirk as an means to the end and that he needed to do so and how poetic it is tp do so and all that, but honestly having spent so mucb time watchin him MASTER a quirk, no honestly SEVERAL, just for him to have nothing at the end seems very unpleasing, im not saying write it so oh looks new quirk popped up or oh actually he didnt get rid of them all, that would be dumb yeah but genuinely he was the final user of the most powerful quirk with the ability to tske in others quirks and stockpile them, for them to not atleast leave him with the stockpile quirk for basic all might esque super strength that he gains over time, its just underwhelming, he has to watch everyone else live the dream he wanted and achieved and then had to give up for the rest of them to keep theirs, i know hes not selfish in anyway, but honestly personally id be bitter sweet about it. Again im not the writer of the story and im not claiming to be a well crafted story creator but sheesh it just sucks to see the story end with him alive but powerless😮‍💨

Honestly, I think if Deku were to end the series without a quirk I wouldn’t be mad. Ive always enjoyed the manga (definitely not the fandom) because of how much I related to characters like Deku and Mob. And to see someone still stand proud even after losing something so crucial shows it never was the power that gave him strength it was the determination to do something with it.
