Pretty much. Thing is, in the manga Deku was punching him really fast with his left hand and it looked more like a Jojo Stand rush than the consecutive normal punches. I loved it either way

i mean its ok, but there are reasons You say run changes with every season. This version is from the first season and as you can hear its very happy. In this season everything is much darker compared to season 1. They updated You say run for that exact reason. The OST you hear when Deku is trying to catch Eri is the "You say run" of this season. Look it up, its called Might*U.

Might*U was absolutely beautiful. Frankly, I prefer how the anime handled the OST here. Might*U was just emotionally charged as all hell, and All For One's theme captured how Overhaul is getting desperate, especially when we learn that no one understands his ideals, not even the one who took him in.

I think the music the used in the end made it seem like the fight wasn't over. They only ever use that music when the Villain seems like their going to win. I think there needed to be a change in the music. Around the last punch, I think there needed to be shift to signal that the fight was done. Basically like Deku vs Muscular. I seen plenty people confused about the ending because of the ominous music in the end. And man it's been almost 2 full seasons since they've used "You Say Run".

@@atlas6538 they've sort of already used "you say run" during the eri-jumps-to-deku's-arm scene (It's named as Might*U) So using it again will be repetitive. Also if you have noticed from the video, some parts were cut or sped up to match the ost (and even then it still sounds clanky and unrefined). The mood is also much darker and serious so the original song played during this scene fits so much better. TL;DR You say run doesn't fit overall because of the timing, mood and tone of this specific scene.

Atlas no it wouldn’t. The music they used was probably to show how much of a monster 100 percent one for all is. And to be honest this wasn’t really a fight, more of an execution.
