I don't mind the bats in a loop actually! I like to think of it as a test for an actual flying pack and it means we have the potential for a butterfly house

I'm absolutely using the gargoyle animal statues as a fountain or as a water source for the animals. Even if you don't go Halloween with this, there's a lot of gothic pieces in here which is perfect for a new architecture theme. This also fills in a lot of gaps for North American animals which is so nice.

Everyone talking about how Walkthrough exhibits could lead to Aviaraies, Am I the only one who can imagine it full of water with two Sharks, A sea turtlr and some fish swimming through it

As someone who's had skunks for six years, and recently my last skunk passed away in July, these little guys are so special to me, when I saw that skunks were going to be added with the dlc I was so excited And as soon as I saw them in this video I was just so happy, they're so fricking adorable and done so well, I want to cuddle one again so badly, I can just feel how the fur is and everything, made me really miss the little guys, I love them

Those big mushrooms would make such a cute theme for a bunch of big exhibits. Something about shrinking the guests down to the size of the bugs they’re about to see

I would say that butterflies are definitely coming to the game. My reasoning is that in Planet Coaster there is a special effects module for butterflies as well as things like pollen particles and some other things. Planet Zoo also has most of these effects modules but not butterflies! Why would that be :)

I’m hyped for this pack! I like all these adorable nocturnal animals the game was able to produce, I’m glad they made us a new campaign mission after 3 years. The scenery does look nice with Halloween themes and castles. A mix of North American and European animals with an Australian and African animal is definitely a fascinating mixture. Ok, bye🙂👋

I'm not too bothered by the bats being in a loop - anything that gets us just a little bit closer to birds, and I could see it being a temporary thing where maybe they'll patch in more behaviors later, or alternate loops with individual behaviors? Also very glad to see that walk-in exhibits will let people make customizations, though I feel like there are also a lot of animals that I'd want to potentially see where having the "walk-in" part would be inappropriate - birds of prey, for example.

For these walk through exhibits I hope there will be butterflies, other types of bats, squirrels, sugar gliders etc :)

Those in the comments concerned about Halloween-themed stuff, think about it less like a Halloween pack and more like a goth pack. 😭 My little goth heart is so pleased with the styling of so many of these architecture and decoration pieces, even and especially the ones you might not use, so it's filling a niche y'all may not have known existed. I am so excited for this pack. I live in the US where most of these animals are common. I do love skunks even though they are stinky. The babies are adorable. Raccoons and their little noises and hands. Adorable!!! My favorite is of course the red fox. We see more of them this time of year and in spring. They are pretty shy and sometimes I only glimpse of one crossing the road in the evening coming home before it disappears into the corn. I am excited for the build pieces. I love the classic zoo look and I think there will be a lot I can do with the new pieces to match .

I'm so excited about the animals of this pack! Bit sad about the bat being on loop, since fruit bats are one of my favorite animals, but I'm happy we get bats at all :) Those giant mushroom props/pieces could be fun features of a children's playground!

i can see the big mushrooms to be used as part of a kids fairy forest. which you can find in some zoos or theme parks :)

I like that this pack was full of smaller mammals. Especially happy with the raccoons. Raccoons have always been one of my favourite animals. I would love to see more smaller North American mammals in the future, like the Virginia Opossum, Black Tailed Jackrabbit or the North American Porcupine.

I'm very excited for all the animals in this pack, the bat is a great addition but it needs alot of work. Still can't wait though!

I'm okay with small flying animals like the bats to be looped. Butterflies would be amazing. But smaller birds like Lorikeets or Budgerigars would be fine as well since walk in habitats for them are common. I still want actual flying birds, bigger ones like owls and parrots in the game.

I am quite hyped for the bats. Personally, I would not mind also smaller birds using the same logic.

I looove this pack already! I see that it might be too themed for some people, but I really like the slightly spooky themed pieces. It fits really well with the European and Conservation Pack imo. And omg the animals, they are so well done!

My goodness, I really did not know you were from The Netherlands. I moved to The Netherlands in August from South Africa. I immediately went to Rottendam Zoo. I saw the Racoons (Wasbeer) wash and play in the puddles. It was so cute.

I immediately thought that papier mache statues could be used as decoration for a souvenir shop.

I got a bunch of the dlcs for super cheap through instant gaming a few days ago. Its really good! I was concerned at first that it might be one of those suspicious scam sites, but I'm really glad I tried it. I only need the conservation pack and south asia pack now (as well as the twilight pack)

Them adding the walk through exhibits as part of the free update suggests this is going to be used in future packs or the anniversary update.. which is a HUGE flag people should be excited about

I think they read my reviews on the game, every year I ask for flying animals and it finally HAPPENED! I love all the animals in the new dlc and I will probably get it soon :)

the walkthrough exhibit reminds me of the exhibits for loris, tropical birds and butterflies that we have at the zoo I work for, so yeah, an aviary/bird pack or butterflies are definitely coming to the game

I unfortunately don't have the game, but I'm so excited for the gothic pieces, I hope you guys built some gothic cathedrals and/or castles, not necessarily like those dark and spooky Halloween castles, but those beautiful buildings like the Notre Dame or Mátyás templom in Hungary. Gothic architecture was originally about bringing in more light inside the buildings after all.

I work at a wildlife sanctuary and I work with a wombat and know all about them, and yes their poo is cubed shaped. It's the way it drys and compacts while it's digesting. Their pouch is backwards so they don't dig dirt into it, they can't sweat but they secret an anti bacterial liquid in their pouch to clean it. They have a very hard bone like cartridge plate on their backside which they use to crush predators skulls (and zookeepers shin bones). Unfortunately there's only around 300 northern hairy nosed wombats left and are one of the rarest animals in the world to see.. i could throw information at you for a long time but I'll keep my comment short haha

I am so excited for the red fox! This and the moose are the North American animals (realize the fox isn't just NA) I've been most excited for, they are among my favorite animals. In 2020 I had a fox family build a den under my barn - I could watch all 6 of the babies playing from my dining room window. Much needed serotonin during lockdown :) Only problem with working from home at that time was I kept getting distracted by the babies, lol. One thing I'm curious about with the fox, do they "scream" in game like they do in real life? And bats! Have wanted to make a bat walkthrough exhibit for so long. Don't mind the looping animation given that this is an exhibit animal, really like how we can place foliage (and I'm assuming other items?) in the exhibit and build the walls ourselves. Looking forward to what this means for future updates. And as a big fan of Halloween and the gothic style, as well as nocturnal houses, this whole pack is just amazingness =D Can't wait to get it and play around with it. Thanks for sharing :)

I’m so excited!! I’ve been working my first franchise zoo and it’s almost done. I wanna start a new fantasy themed zoo with a fully-fledged backstory and have the guests essentially walkthrough different elements of the story in the zoo 🤩 some of these new pieces and animals will be perfect to repurpose!

A bit dissapointed about the lack of plants, but a lot of the pieces seem to be very usefull. Also skunks have as much variety as foxes (maybe not in color but in patterns) and in the video at least doesn't seem to be any which is a shame considering how much they focused on that feature for the fox. And yeah the props on the bat exhibit screams sloths and small primates, Not just birds. All the animals look fantastic.

I would LOVE to have a butterfly habitat in the game one day~ 🦋 this is a fun pack~

I have no issue with animal animations being on a loop if they show a good variety of behaviors and movements. Some of the newer exhibit animals are decent in that regard, but still plenty of room for improvement.

I like the bigger exhibits. I just wish they let a couple more animals the option to be added to the walkthroughs like the terrapins or some such.

We have four raccoons living in our juniper bushes in front yard. They are really cute and so far they haven't gotten into the trash cans which is good. Favorite has to be the red fox. Have seen one once in our yard. They make the oddest noises lol

The glass pieces I could see using in a spider or bat exhibit just for effect, but yeah there are definitely few items that are very Halloween specific so they'd have limited usage for me as well.

I'm really happy about the Halloween theme.. they already had festive Christmas decor...

I'm so excited for this pack! I love all things spooky and I think it would be an amazing idea to have a little haunted area with naughty or spooky animals in that section 🤩! And as far as racoons, in America they are sometimes a pain. They usually carry rabies and other diseases and will attack humans and our dogs/cats. The ones that aren't diseased love to dig through our trash bins and leave big messes. Even so, I can't wait to add them to my zoo lol. Thanks for the video Lady 😊

I would be happy with small birds like budgies for example, or finches/sparrows to be in this type of exhibit int the game, but large parrots, hornbills I would expect them to be actual individual animals going forward. Its exciting though!

I do not mind any future birds flying and roosting in a loop, provided that it's quite a big loop so it's not extremely obvious. It's not like I'm going to be sitting there watching them for longer than a minute.

OMG it's a Halloween Theme pack, obviously many things would look like the theme they were created for..... people complain a lot.

I think loops is fine for smaller birds, I don't mind having walkthrough humming bird or parrot exhibits, bit if we have large flying bird I can imagine it be better if they are free moving.

There's a wildlife park in my city with a walk-through hummingbird exhibit, I think they would work well with the walk-in layout since they're so small.

I've been away from this game for quite a while now and am looking to get back into it. The most recent packs look like fun for sure, but is there anything you'd suggest to help get back into the game? :)

I doubt they add it for birds when they made the bats like this. Pathfinding in a closed up area like a lake is one thing but pathfinding in the air is not so easy and could lead to a lot of issues. So yeah... would be cool if they managed this (and then maybe update the bats) but I really wouldn't count on it. This would need recources for something you have kind of already with a working system. Pro on this this might be a proof of concept and they are actually working on an aviary package
