I understand but we cant make ourselves feel bad, im seeking too and some days i feel better than others, but when you are seeking for god and want to give you life for him, the old devil wants to confuse you and drag you away, so follow yout heart and ask him to guide you through the holy spirit, jesus died for us and save us so.dont panick we are all imperfect and make mistakes daily, but God knows you better than anyone. Try pastor Kevin la Ewing.... He seems to help explain the Bible to people in your situation. I understand a lot of people can relate. When I found his videos it opened up that part of me with Christ, God, just seeking his WORD, and wanting that connection. Yes, I think you might be amazed at the way he breaks down scriptures, 😅he says a two yr old can understand. I think you can draw strength from the videos, he explains the spiritual side of things also, like how our walk is in spirit and truth. ❤

The reason you are struggling with reading the Bible is because the enemy is attacking , the worse thing for him would losing someone to truth. it’s speaks volumes on how important reading the Bible it is to your eternal life. What I did once I realized the devil was the one pulling me away from reading the Bible , it became kind of a game / battle that I could only Win if I completed my daily goal. If I didn’t complete it , it was a win for the enemy. My goal each day to win against the enemy was one chapter in morning and one before bed. After a couple weeks I started to see Things with a supernatural clarity. I was getting downloaded through out the day , with crazy revelations and things clicking. I could ( and still can ) see the truth behind this physical fleshy world. I WAS SHOCKED BY HOW SMART I WAS TO SEE THESE THINGS THAT EVEN MOST CHRISTIANS HAD BEEN ABLE TO SEE! Well that’s because it’s the Holy Spirit not me This has been going on for years now and the thing I noticed is I never get the revelation or the download during the times I’m reading the Bible . God showed me that when I read it’s an act of obedience, love, and shows him that I seek him with my heart. He told me that when I read and I don’t understand what I’m actually looking at , is an act of faith in him. Tha I may not know what the Bible says in the moment but I’m trusting that God will show me the truth, whenever it is time for me to know . So I don’t memorize verses well, I am ADD and can’t read with ease , but I do go everyday ( most of the time ) and open the book trusting that it’s changing something inside me , and these verses are moving and alive and THE TRUTH!! So

Hi Sister. I have the exact same experience with everything you just named. I am 36, single, and turned to Jesus 10 years ago. My life has really been depressing but the ONE thing I turned from is isolation. Do not isolate yourself. satan thrives in those environments. Find a bible study or a Christian womens group. Please don’t give up. You need fellowship! Its what helped me immensely. ❤

He equips everyone He calls! Rest is on the inside because we are the temple Of the Holy Spirit. The gospel message is the same gospel ALL over the world. Like Solomon’s temple, the sweat happens on the outside. But inside the Holy of Holies - rest. Because He is faithful and His faithfulness endures forever! Our lives here are a beep, a vapor. So short. He has called us to shine and be the light of the world, to be the salt of the earth, the head and not the tail, more than conquerors! This is salvation - to KNOW HIM. Once we understand our identity in Him, we then begin to understand what our purpose is, and then we find He has already equipped us to do every good work! And so we walk and operate with a posture of internal and eternal rest! No sweat! God is not surprised by the circumstances! Not saying there isn’t conflict, or there isn’t a battle to fight, but there is no contest between the devil and God. The battle is always for the punishment of the devil. And for God to make us more like Him!

I had as well for me the reason was it was too overwhelming. So much to learn, felt so little time and some hard to understand. Like I have heard of Grace and I am a new creation in Jesus. But why is it I keep going back to old ways and patterns. So I started with a simple prayer a friend suggested I try “Lord change my desires, teach me your word, teach me.” And he has. I shall pray for you and He will meet with you. Taste and see the Lord is good. He doesn’t want you to miss out, he loves you. If I were to recommend what I was doing during my first initial attempt: look up daily discipleship with Chip Ingram and try doing the book of Philippians with him day by day. He will show many methods of study and such but the thing that helped me most from what he taught was that I learned to pray, to persevere and to delight in his word. And then read counsel to Christians by George muller. I shall be praying for you. God bless you dear friend in Christ Jesus are good shepherd and loving king.
