Delamere 500th Parkrun 15/06/2024

Күн бұрынI ran Parkrun in 20:56 and finished 35th. Congratulations to Delamere Parkrun for their 500th Parkrun!! I saw a mouse and the mouse looked good.
It was really busy event today. They even took a selfie for their FaceBook page.
Had a great time I asked a group of volunteers for directions and they guided me and my wife around a longer route, at least I got my 10,000 steps. lol
The course itself was quite flat with literally no inclines. A big thank you to the volunteers and runners for making this run possible.
Beware: the car parking is quite expensive and a bit of a walk to the start but it's a nice walk.

@@adrianpullinger9711 it is, but parking is quite expensive and the car park is some distance from the event. But don’t get me wrong it is a great run.

It is a good course, and it’s flat. It’s Delamere Forest is a great sight as a tourist. Parking is a little expensive which is not mentioned on the app or on their website.

14:11 Oooh, he almost ran over the dog. Maybe it should be forbidden to have dogs in Parkruns? 🐕🦺

You are right@@TheLandOfFantasy, but it does happen. In 2017/2018, I nearly tripped over a dog lead then a month or two later they banned them and asked to use short leads only.
