Update on the early Lady Deathstrike data since recording this intro: By my reading, so far it looks like she's okay in some decks like Thanos Destroy, regular Destroy, and barely okay in some Mr. Negative builds, but in all those cases, it seems she's probably making the decks worse than if they had another card in her spot. So basically they can maintain good win rates with her, but she's probably not optimal. We'll see how refinements shake out over the next few days with larger sample sizes!

I think they may change her power by an "OTA" sooner than later so it's a triky situation with so many good cards coming in,personally I'm saving resources to get X23 + Jeff + S.Samurai in that order....not forgetting saving for Alioth in September. Great vid !!🔥

This is so sick. I was playing Snap earlier and had the idea for a combo very similar to this. Except instead of using a Black Panther On Reveal shell I thought it would be a good idea to use a SheNaut shell. I saw no success because I can't build a deck or draw combo pieces to save my life but seeing the Wong -> Shuri -> Deathstrike play actually work has made me believe that I'm not totally insane and that I have sort of good ideas hidden somewhere in my brain. Maybe you can make my "SheStrike" Combo Deck actually work. I really feel like I was onto something with it.

Just destroyed an Iron man Surfer combo using this method. I got lucky like the first game...pretty satisfying ty for a more consistent deck with her!

Regis you should try her in C-3. I believe the buff happens before her on reveal.

They should have maid her “destroy every card weaker than her add +2 power per killed target” Or “destroy all cards on the losing side” woulda made her op

I had more or less the same thoughts after trying it out in my negative destroy deck... its sorta like you'd like it to cost 3 to be another option for eating deadpool when you're on that plan... but if you're on that plan you probably don't have the negative draw lined up? but if you don't have the negative line... usually deadpool will be too big to kill with the 5/3 lady... and if you don't have the deadpool plan going and are in on negative... you usually have better plays than the 3/5 lady... I don't know it always felt like it didn't fit into either line except for when you sorta hit half of each play line and are scrambling, but it doesn't even feel like it helps you pull out of that split line...

The Death and Knull game the opponent also playing Thanos, so they had rocks, stones, cards...Knull and Death...

Tbh if the enemy is an ongoing deck she is a perfect counter She can remove iron man Mr fanta luke cage ant man Howard etc

You can also do Wong, Nakia, lady with and ice man scorpio with a mystique

I pulled off a deathstrike zola play against a patriot deck. It was on lamentus so it wasent at their best, but i did win. I also had it line up where i could have taken out a Dracula and won that lane because of it, but i would not have won the other lanes so i never saw it happen.

Deathstrike just seems a lot like when Phoenix Force released before the improvement. It's neat when it works, but it doesn't work often enough and there are tons of way way way better options. LD just send like she drags the deck down rather than being a useful tool.

I used a spotlight cache to get Lady D and she just does not feel good in any deck I tried. She really needs to be a 4 drop or some sort of change.

That game with Subterranea and Lamentis-1, and your opponent drawing BOTH Death and Knull, when they already have a fat deck because of Thanos even before Subterranea... yeah I'd be tilted if that were happen to me too lol

I haven't seen anyone taking the valk route. Valk, hazmat into lds. Making it more tempo then flashy could be beneficial.

I expect a change to Lady Deathstrike, something around 4-3 or 3-3.

She's a good counter to 0 cost cards (Dracula, Darkhawk, IronMan, Cerebro, etc etc), but she will also kill the minus power cards, so you can use her to clear Hood or Goblin on your side, and even rocks.. She can also kill Wolverine if he's at 2 power, so he will be become a 4. And with Forge you can make her kill 3 and 4 power card as well. It's not a fantastic card, I think the main issue is the cost, 5 is just too much, it should be a 4/3. Her main use is last turn, but because she costs 5 you cannot do Forge - Deathstrike on same turn (except on 7), you need to play Forge on the previous turn. Another good trick would be with Phoenix, where you you can revive Deathstrike as 8 power card, but that means you have to be able to kill Deathstrike before, and it's already hard to kill her before turn 5 - you'd need Wave/Psylocke turn 3 to drop Deathstrike turn 4, and destroy turn 5 and then on turn 6 drop Phoenix to win 1 lane. But the problem is that you cannot win the other lanes like this. The setup time for proper use of Deathstrike is too narrow. If they changed her into a 4/3, then it gives more time to setup while doing other things and make her a viable card to use in meta.

So I just hold my spotlight caches for the next week I guess... :)

She might do good for a Knull/Venom/Death deck.

The card could be better but it seems fun to use Edit: I would try a hela with a carnage or other cards that destroy

For sure Lady Deathstrike is a fun card but I think she should have been a 4 cost and also be paired with Shadow King and even still I think she would be bad, maybe she can fit in C3

Honestly I don't mind Lady D staying this way. Feels like she might be frustrating if buffed well. People already whine enough about Shang chi.

She is a welcome my lady card to my negative deck for sure , hint hint :) negative, shuri , lady strike on that juicy lane equals bye bye.

I think she should be treated more as a tech destroy card if anything, not as a powerhouse. And then Knull should definitely be in the list too

I pulled Deathstrike with Coulson earlier today and she got me a draw instead of a loss. Opponent played Sentry > Iron Fist onto Viper onto Void > Galactus. Deathstrike got me the draw by destroying the Void on T6 after Galactus went off

Sunspot gone Dino gone Mystique gone Hawk gone Ironman gone Taskmaster gone Knull Gone I feel like it will be very playable, almost close to Shang-Chi If it starts getting abused in Mr Negative decks then it could go to 3-2 and then it wouldn't make much sense to flip it

Her cost is too much. She'd be ideal to counter Wong, Daredevil, Echo and the such. Should be 3/3. Only encountered her once so far and she buffed my Kulls for me to win

She should be a 5 cost 1 power and destroy all cards that cost less than her power on that location. At worst is a very located and controlled killmonger , pumped can do exiting plays.. 3 is not that impossible to get and can counter and destroy silver surfers decks which are tought to counter .

To be honest if whe ends up good, that'd be a pretty miserable meta to play in.

She will 100% get buffed, her power is way too weak for like, 80% of the cards lol, so much to do in order to give her power and she can only be played between turn 5-7 (without special locations), she have a very nice ability, but it just barely matter because many played cards have more raw power right now

Lady Deathstrike suck ;/ As 4 mana drop which 3 power would be better or 5 mana 4 power, but as 5 mana 3 power she is just too weak, maybe its not bad to play her which Nakia or Okoye, becaus 3 and 4 power its huge diff, but i dont think card like that is good, maybe if Goblins will conquer meta, but for now its 4/10 card.

Spotlight caches are completely glitched you are supposed to get one of the spotlighted cards and if you already own one of them you get a duped reward instead. Now I just opened a cache and I dont own any of the 3 stature modok or deathstrike and only just got 1000 tokens instead like wtf is this garbage

kind of a whale in this game full time job no expenses. yuh don't buy lady deathstrike I bought her with saved up tokens. she'll get buffed eventually but she's honestly unplayable. shame a lot of potential. Also silver samurai isn't a destroy card so I dnno if it's worth spending tokens on him. Only worth while card getting this month is x - 23. actually after watching your deck. looks fun as hell. however to make deathstrike work you need a lot of series 3 cards which I don't have.

From what I have seen from games she is a bench warmer. Most of the time she makes things worse than better when played. Most creators I have watched play her have had the same ehh kinda feeling about her.
