I absolutely love this videos. You get the comic background which for me is great because I don’t have a deep rooted knowledge of Marvel comics. The deck builds are great because they give you ideas and you start to brainstorm your own concoction. Finally the production quality of these videos is amazing Cozy. Really well done sir.

@exdee__ I mean, there are only so many variations with a 12 card deck... It is what it is. You can still brainstorm a little by swapping out cards you think aren't working for something else.

Agree, it makes much more sense to fast forward with double wong + odin. Or even better, add a button that allows you to fast forward stuff whenever you want, so you just get it over with

This reminds me of a sort of a discard silver surfer I used to run. It required a lot of thought but man did it surprise ppl! Should try to remake it once I get Proxima

I had been struggling on getting to Infinite this month, so I tried this deck. It was much better than I thought. I flew by to Infinite faster than with any other deck since I don't use Destroy decks.

Fist card I have not pulled this month (from the cull obsidian... and yeah, this is the name of the team, in the comics. The character known as "Cull Obsidian" is actually called "Black Dwarf") I burned an extra key last week, so might not even get her (I would have had 4 to spend before week is over) but I pulled Iron Lad from my random, so probably a decent trade off. Still though, I would love this card, I have some ideas cooking for her. Would be incredibly annoying to have just 1 of the team missing from my collection.

Mailbag: Keep up the great work, this is my favourite KZfaq video every week!! Idea for Discard - Bullseye (2 Cost, 2 Power) Ongoing… “All random discards can be targeted”. I think this would be fire!! Benefits Hell Cow, Gambit, Corvus Glaive, Sword Master & Moon Knight. It would not impact Lady Sif, Coleen Wing, Blade & Silver Samurai. Alternatively, just give this ability to Sword Master to make him relevant. What do you think?

As a starter deck , discard is one of the more powerful decks to play , but iv’e grown to hate it so much the better cards i got because of those unintended interactions with it 😅

If you have an ear with the devs, can you suggest changing the sensitivity that triggers the fast forward effect? I get it on the gambit exodia and other weird interactions that loop for 5 min, but it sucks missing their discards for something like Modok just on Kamar-Taj lol 😅

I'm new-ish to Marvel Snap but I have been watching tons and tons of Marvel Snap videos and why is there only like 3 kinds of decks. I just keep seeing discard decks and destroy decks. Why are there so few deck archetypes in Marvel Snap?

there are a lot of archetypes but a lot of them are just not good. In every meta there are always 2-4 decks dominating everything because they are better than all the others. Usually this changes with ota balance patches or new card releases. The problem right now is that the last patches didn't really changed a lot and also kinda a big chunk of the cards that got released in the last months see no play. cards like martyr, man thing, havoc, selene, hercules, grandmaster all had more or less potential to change the game but didn't in the long run so people stick to their most reliable massive power output decks like destroy

22:40 play order matters with Proxima. If you played Modok first, you would have had 0 power mid, guaranteeing Proxima join Morbius.

Proxima can be a rope-a-dope card to put pressure on a lane, while you focus on winning the others. Often if the opponent doesn't care to compete against the Proxima lane, she's wins it solo.

Yeah you had the order correct the first time at 22:00, but you swapped the order in the end and it made you lose the game. Morbius second would have been unrevealed and Proxima would have chosen his lane guaranteed, you made it a "chance" with dropping Morbius first in the end. Still a great video and I'm enjoying the deck.

@@looplooplooplooploop no there are more cards coming out every month but the resource acquisition rate is the same as before. each new card is that little bit harder to guarantee. this is by design, sd has mentioned as much. dont ask for an exact quote i dont have the energy to find it. but i can paraphrase what little i remember, they said something about some people getting all the new cards and some were really struggling, so they wanted to even the playing field a little bit for the first group (which is where i was, i have picked up almost every new card of worth till they started releasing 5 cards a month without breaking a sweat and spending any irl money).

Wasted 4 keys on this card and this deck doesn’t win. Gonna try to do something myself, but this card feels like a flop and not needed for discard. Love your vids Cozy, but this one ain’t it.

Seems as though second dinner have shadow nerfed the spotlight chances of pulling new cards first with keys. I'm not sure if it's horrible luck or not. Please someone let me know if they have a similar experience The past 4 spotlight cards I've wanted I've had to spend 3 or 4 keys in order to get. That's 12-16 keys for 4 new cards. It's kinda disgusting honestly. Before the new year and last major patch, I could consistently get the spotlight card first try. Sometimes only 2. But it's a terrible look if they have indeed some how nerfed our chances at pulling unowned cards first. I always get a variant first. Then the terrible idea in adding a fourth random variant for each spotlight. It's always a card I own that gets swapped for tokens. 3rd sometimes is the spotlight but not the last 3 tries. 4 keys for a spotlight card that many times in a row is wild

No way to really know if it’s just your luck. But on my side of things, I am a free player and got giant and cull first keys, haven’t tried her or her husband because I don’t do a lot of discard

It just feels terrible when I've had to use 4 keys on proxima - Corvus - grand master 3 keys on miek and caiera (discards my favorite archetype) I may have tried to pull other cards if I didn't think I was gonna waste all my saved up keys. Which at this point I have now. Just feels bad either way.

Have you heard the legend of 'Corvus the Discarder'? It's not a tale the Second Dinner would tell you. Once upon a time, Discard was forgotten. But then came Corvus Glaive. He and his buddy Electro teamed up to discard big bodacious cards. But soon after arrived Proxima Midnight. Once Corvus *discarded* her, he could not ever stop. Sometimes he would accidentally discard Hela and that would make Proxima angry. But Corvus is always sorry for that. He becomes to high on energy everytime he visits Kama-Taj with Electro. So he would be unable to differentiate between Hela and Proxima since they both have thorn-like helmets and both have *Discardable Features* . But Proxima loves him as much as he loves her. So she forgave his past mistakes. Corvus loves *discarding* Proxima and Proxima loves being discarded by Corvus. This power couple *discarded* all over marvel snap. They discarded on the faces of Thanos meta-slaves, making them cry like toddlers. They even *discarded* on famous snap content creators. They brought new life to the *Discard* genre. They *discarded* so hard that even Morbius said, "It's discardin' time." They became the new and true power couple of marvel. Everyone was in awe of their *discarding* capabilities.
