I like how they went with the Prince singing to his dying mother because it shows how the Prince used to be kind and makes you feel for him.

They should’ve kept that part in of the mother singing, cause then we would know that it was the prince’s and the mother’s song! Cause In the movie it’s just him singing but it would’ve been so much better if she was singing too/first then it transitioned to the part where he’s singing while watching his mother in bed.

Oh I like this version, wish they could have added this scene with the mother singing to her son and the young son singing back. And continue with the beast's version. I love Emma Watson's voice in all the songs. She sounds so sweet and natural. ❤

I can see why the changes were made. Belle knows why she has to stay, even though her father needs her. She is stronger but still a prisoner. Beasty doesn't need to directly say that he's afraid. It's better just to show and let it all reveal itself.

The live-action dark version beauty and the beast finally brings the answer of How the prince became spoiled, selfish and unkind not just with riches and castle luxury in a greedy way and as before he was cursed to be the beast, it was after his kind sweet and good queen mother's death then his cruel bad king father raised him alone to become just like him, if I were the queen I couldn't go through with this marrying the king because of his actions for he might do things illegal in the kingdom even he and the court can banish me from the castle to live in poverty but at least I stand up for what I believe in that is right for myself surviving things in towns strong independently and finding a better nice husband one day for a real good life freely along with my children. But sadly the queen married the king, Prince Adam/the beast never had a good father but his mother was the only one who cared for him, if it was in my own better version however it could be good in the cartoon version too this I want the prince to be named Adam certainly his name is never mentioned in cartoon and live-action versions and have him living happily with both his intelligent and good parents the king and queen of France his father and mother genuinely love each other and thier son as also they were loved by their subjects the townspeople and thier castle servants despite that they're the powerful rulers of France Adam loves his family he was once a sweet innocent 8 year old little boy Until his parents fell into illness and died leaving him alone in sadness bitterly growing up into a proud, vain and cruel young man suddenly feared and unloved no one like his servants dare to discipline him since he's the prince unwilling to listen only his parents can when they were alive but then the truly good enchantress came saw his actions she tested him while disguised as a old beggar woman asking for shelter in a exchange for a red rose of course we know the prologue she cursed Adam at his age of 16 after he refused to help her Adam became the beast he and his servants were forgotten by everyone Adam lost inherited the throne to become king everybody unaware this the long lost prince might return to the public one day if he could able to break his curse with someone like Belle for true love in time so he can have his fairy tale happy ending to rule the kingdom wisely with the woman he love.

The prince’s father has experienced why the prince’s mother’s death drove him insane. I thought the father was abusive but I was wrong.

That’s tough that’s really tough to lose a parent it’s really hard to lose a mother I lost my dad I know exactly what the prince is going for he’s been going through so much he loved her mother so much they were going to be together forever in but sadly she died it is just say goodbye to bury it so hard it makes it just really brings tears 😭 it’s really hard I love this song so much it brings back so many memories of my dad the song it touched my heart ♥️

I feel sad for the beast when he was once a human friends he lost his mother when he was a boy! And I felt bad for him because I was afraid I was going to lose my mother to and I did! My mother died on st. Patty's Day 2023 it just happened this year I never liked st. Patty's day anyway not only because it's cold nor if it's about getting drunk it's also when I lost my mother! We used to talk about such wonderful things like fairies and gods and goddesses even holidays that no one else has ever heard of! She and I used to go to the beach together but the last time I've been to a beach I was with my older sister saying goodbye to our mother! But the last time I saw her I sang The Little Mermaid song part of your world to make her feel calm! But she's gone and there will be no one else like her who believes in anything that my mom believes in! And if my father dies I don't know what's going to happen to me because I don't know how to cook or to organize or anything like that it's sometimes hard for me to take care of myself or anybody else! The truth is I am a cartoonist that's all I know about! But the one thing I don't like about it is having autism I have a very sensitive scalp it's sometimes felt like someone was fixing my hair for me and I don't like it when someone was helping me with my clothes or anyting but just now I just don't feel comfortable! The truth is I am very sensitive all over my body but one of these days I am going to become a cartoon animation director and I am going to create my very own cartoons and make them come to life on TV for the first time ever someday! All I know for sure is that my mother is in heaven watching me from above! I have so many good ideas for my cartoons that I really want everyone to get to know them before I too would pass away just like my mother did! And once I die I'm sure my mom will come to me and take me to heaven and we will someday be together again I just know it!

Later, it's the mother who's in bed. She's just died, and the young Prince is pulled away by his father. We reshot this because of a mistake I made. When we previewed the movie, there were people in the audience who got confused. They thought Harriet was actually Harriet Morahan, who plays Agathe, the enchantress. The actresses actually look very much alike. So,sadly, when we did it again, even though it is, once again, Harriet, we had to put her in bed and with dark hair. Sadly, it meant we had to recast the boy becase, in the new version, it was now a singing part, and we needed someone witha trained voice. I'm thrilled to be able to finally share what I think was a wonderful, really lovely performance from Harriet Jones in this clip. LUMIÈRE: Let him sleep. Rest now, my love.
