Sufficient evidence was that the ship was supposed to fly towards earth 2k years ago. (it's strange that they ended up on this ship since there were more of them) It's good that they did what they did, because then the film would have earned less and there would have been no further parts.

I don't think so, because if it was in the movie, it would go like this : "So we just sent you one guy, with not much of power, so he tells you what we want. He was among thousands of other self-proclaimed prophets and you dared to not believe him. Also, all his paradise and hell stories were bs (obviously since we really are aliens) and you choose not to believe. How dare you !" That would be so stupid, it would make fools of the Engineers and also, while we are at it, they call us barbarians but... arn't they the ones who created the Aliens as a weapon ?

The best killers are not the goal. The point of evolution is not to end evolution, by exterminating all advanced life. What made you think that? When dude was playing pool with bishop and he asked why humans made him and the answer was “because we could”. Then he replied with something like well how disappointing would it be if that’s the answers you got. I’m not denying the points you’re trying to make about the characteristics of the engineers. I’m denying that there was any deleted line from the script because it wouldn’t make sense with the themes of the movie. Like this video is trying to claim that they abducted Jesus and sent him back?? lol that’s laughably retarded and would have killed the vibe of the movie.

David clearly decoded their language and the one engineer apparently understood. It’s also clear they really looked down on David and the humans and probably felt no reason to communicate to the lesser being Kind of like how most (rational and sane) people probably don’t speak to the ants as they prepare to spray them when they start coming in the house in the summer

They don't show him the mysteries or anything like that. And when enoch is brought to the seventh heaven he isn't brought there with his mom or anything like that.

Yes. That whole scene is crazy without context included in the cut content. All you see in the theatrical release is the engineer go mad and kill Weyland and tear apart David for no apparent reason. The cut content has Weyland with David as interpreter ask the engineer for more life since he is dying old man. The whole backstory of man and the sheer audacity of Weyland to ask for more life maddens the engineer and does what we all see in the film.

obviously we had the choice, it boils down to not enough stepping forward for goodness mankind. Obviously, we were created to create, were going to need some type of freedom for that, we were given it. It doesn't make sense for us to have chosen this path. Having a rough beginning, learning from it and evolving could've been predicted, even bet on due to someones hope and faith in us, because of our conscious minds and hardships, you would think we would've gotten a clue by now. Look at the mural in the big head room, there is a xenomorph in the crucified position. Ridley was going this way from the start. The mural remained after they cut the idea out of the script.

Everyone is just looking around and one of the crew shines his flashlight on the wall. Its a giant painting of a xenomorph like figure in a crucified position. It not to fast so you miss it but its not to long of a look either. just watch the scene again.

I also hate what happened to Shaw all off camera in Covenant. Shaw could have been a trilogy hero. I'm sorry but I think Romulous is going to drop the ball again. I think they just need to move forward with Alien 5 soft reboot, all about the Aliens, and stop trying to add different sub species and even let the Aliens win a time or two.

As a Christian, I would have no problem with this being in the movie. Anyway, it was pretty much implied since they mention that the Engineers were going to attack Earth 2.000 years ago. However, I think I prefer it only being implied, since this keeps the story open for more interpretations.

There is a hint of this still in the movie. They say that the mummified head is around 2000 years old. I always thought this was a reference to Christ. When they decided to go back and destroy humanity after the murder of Christ that's when the accident happened and there was a leak in the facility.

This line is like a missing Keystone in a larger structure, removing it leaves the Alien universe in an unknowable morass of who what when where why how….. but to hear these lines, combined with what I know of Ridley Scott from a later project he helmed called Raised By Wolves in 2020, i believe that the Engineers of Alien universe are more like a real creative entity with a real history of guidance of humanity than meets the eye at a first glance. There is perhaps an all to real parallel in this missing piece of dialog which shows the lesson of life i discovered, that of free will and the choice to do good or to do as humanity has been choosing, that of the bellicose barbarian who can find no higher purpose than conquest of his fellow man. The Engineers would not want the blood thirsty variant of humanity to infect the rest of the Universe, so they sent the Xenomorph plague to destroy it. Engineers are both Creator, Maintainer and Destroyer. All the while occulting themselves from the perceptions of all the humans undergoing the task of living and learning, both in the Alien cinematic universe, and our own. Perhaps.
