extension to deletion lore: the first course is deletion's palace and the marbles have invaded it to make this "marathon game", deletion is furious and hungry so he takes out the marbles from his palace, and proceeds to follow the escapers into another unknown course (just needed some sympathy for deletion instead of him being just a hungry beast)
