A lot of people lost their jobs and their only source of income during the lockdown but what if you lost your house too? This is the story of Karan Sharma from Delhi who used to work as a driver with the minister from Indian Parliament and used to stay with his wife in Government staff quarters. But as soon as the lockdown started, he lost his job and even his house. In failing to at least find a house in Delhi, Karan and Amrita had no option but to stay in their car for 2 months. From eating langar at Bangla Sahib Gurudwara everyday to using public toilets, this couple saw the worst time of their lives together. Today, they are selling Rajma chawal in their car near Talkatora Stadium to make ends meet. Watch the entire tale of this couple who didn't give up in this episode of Street Stories!

Coming from an Indian family, from my grandmother on both sides have been very territorial, protective, conservative and very influencial when it comes to the choice of their future daughter in law, they wanted their in laws to have fair complexion coming from decently educated family, so that their grandchildren would have fair colour and educated too. But my grandfather and father had different opinions, they said if a man is lucky to have a good woman, he has struck gold. Now, I think, my father was very right.

I vehemently disagree with you. Most wives in lower middle class are working to support the family whereas husbands either jobless or work only sometimes. Excuse me!!! He’s supporting the wife not other way round, coz everything is done by the wife here. All he’s doing is driving car from home to Tal katora. The car is her fathers, she’s cooking the food. And they are selling it. So she is not supporting him, he’s supporting her! Also, when she wanted to support him when he was working he told her “tumse na ho payega” so actually discouraging tbh. Women are nice, men are like you!!

Because temples are under government control but gurudwara, church, mosque, are not . That's why we are demanding free temples from government control....
