Nah i dunno about yall but im entirely with Senshi and Laios. The monsters are made of meat. They would waste away if not consumed. Its easier to carry spices and ingredients and implements then processed food.

@@DragonaxFilms That's really funny then, because you nailed it: It's the short, high A as in "cat." Given how common a sound it is, it's weird there's no fully clear way to spell it in modern letters, but I guess "aeh" could work too, which would make the original makes sense.

Both EN and JP are being extremely expressive in their deliveries here, so you're kind of setting an impossible standard here by asking for something that's already being delivered.

I like how the dub team matched a lot of the energy of the JP dub, including some of the vocal sound effects, like when they were telling her she'll be a burden on the team if she gets injured, and she shouts "guuhhh!!" even in English

holy crap. I'm so glad dub is getting better. This sounds good enough to justify someone saying that they prefer dub over sub.

I believe that most dubs in English are pretty meh or bad, but *this* dub is amazing, they really care about the characters and impressions of the original Japanese voices very well. ❤
