It's not that he left Falin and Laios' party for nothing, he just thought that Laios' party aren't strong enough to rescue Falin and decided to bring his "family" to save her. Also keep in mind Ancient/black magic was illegal in this world so Shuro regards this as criminal act. Not to mention he can't stand Laios' attitude so his anger was understandable

Shuro literally said the party would become fugitives under the eyes of the Western Elves and the island's governor himself is subservient to the elves implying they're the top civilization of Dungeon Meshi's world. How did you miss that? Imagine your crush is now a criminal and her brother tells you about it making you an accomplice so now the entire party are criminals with the elves closing in the island.

Interestingly, Delicious in Dungeon is the English subtitle that was already printed on the cover of the manga when it was released in Japan in 2015. Well, no one in Japan calls it by that name. By the way, this is a reference to D&D (RPG).
