Ingredients:
1 Cup - Long Grain Rice
2.5 Cups - Water/Stock for Moist Rice or 2 Cups for drier Rice
4oz - Tomato Sauce
1/4 - Med Onion (slice/chop)
1/2 Cup - Veggies (corn/carrot/peas)
1.5 TBSP - Knorr Chicken Bouillon Powder
1 TSP - Garlic Powder
1/2 TSP - Cumin Powder
1-2 TBSP - Oil
Instructions:
- Set heat to med - high and add oil until hot
- Place rice in pan & MIX continuously until light golden brown
- Pour tomato sauce & mix for 1-2 minutes
- Add water, then put in chicken powder, garlic powder, cumin powder, onions & corn kernels or other Veggies of choice
- Mix everything together
- Cover pan & turn heat to HIGH, then wait until rice starts to boil
- DO NOT REMOVE THE LID FROM THIS POINT
- Turn heat to low until it gets to a simmer
- Start timer for 20 minutes
- Once 20 minutes is up, turn off the heat and move the pot to a cool side of the stove and let it rest for 10 minutes
- ENJOY!
