Can you beat a Pokemon Quiz that also has RPG elements? We challenged ‪@shepskydad‬ and ‪@chris-piche‬ to a jeopardy style pokemon quiz with dumb answers and challenges, where correct answers award Pokemon and items, but wrong answers inflict harsh punishments. I actually think that Fissure should have been allowed on Diglett on the technicality that OHKO moves do not deal damage. They cause a Pokémon to faint immediately. Since fissure does not deal damage, it does not get STAB boost, and should’ve been allowed. But that’s just my opinion. :^)

Quoting wiki "Fissure always inflicts exactly 65535 HP damage" wich means that is does indeed deal damage, but does not get stab boost since it still does always the same amount

@@Quantum_Magnus I was basing it on bulbapedia, but now i read more and realised that that was the case in gen 1, but in gentwo it now "Fissure now inflicts damage equal to the target's current HP."

@@Quantum_Magnus Even so, set damage (whether 65535 or current HP) _still_ means no STAB boost, and you're still correct either way.

If you do this again I think you should let contestants “hold on” to their prizes. Like, they don’t have a pokemon *yet*, but once they do they can change the stats Or you could just have them apply all the filters at the end Or you could do 2 separate boards, one with Pokémon and one with effects

There was no TM69 in Gens I-III. Up through Gen III they only had 50 TM's. It doubled to 100 in Gen IV.

The key was used to enter the Pharaoh's mindscape and investigate it in a humanoid form. Puzzle: Pharaoh's phylactery, keeps his soul so he can reform if he dies. Also kills. Rod: Absolute command over his subjects. Also kills. Eye: Observation of surface thoughts and senses. Also kills. Key: Observation of deep/subconscious thoughts. Also kills. Ring: Magic detector/locator of other items. Also kills. Necklace: Powers of prophecy. Notable doesn't kill at random. Scale: DEFINITELY kills. Specifically, it's a truth detector/heart darkness detector and will just merc you if it feels like it. I think the filler villains may have had the right of things, The Pharaoh probably was evil, given all the tools he had made for his rulership both as an alive ruler and lich from beyond the grave.

Ok idea have them all create their dream team. There are no rewards in this one, instead the one who gets the answer right gets to choose which Pokémon/trainer has to deal with it. One legendary per team and make it so there are plenty of “replace a Pokémon with x” punishment so there’s more than likely no legends in the last battle

I’m a minute into the video and I’m so annoyed. The card was a stage 1 fossil flying type from an older gen and I guessed Archeops, which is so stupid on my part because it’s a relatively newer mon comparatively and fossils were only a thing back in the early days of the tag, so Archeops wouldn’t have even existed and if it did, it would have been a stage 2.
