I could spend three full lifetimes and still not make enough friends to fill up that entire apartment for an evening party lol. Having said that, this is perfect for a single stylish socialite who lives in the big city and loves to entertain.

While I love a pastel bedroom as much as the next person, I actually loooove the darker tones of the rest of the house, especially the entrance room! I think they suit the traditional feel of the pack a little more - all very lovely!

I love seeing what you do with cc packs. I agree, it's a fun way to review packs. Side note: I was just diagnosed with Crohn's disease and bone broth is one of the only things that has good fatty acids I can digest. Big fan but I haven't found one I like the taste of.

Those big tables in the entrance are actually a very old tradition- I’ve seen them in tudor-era houses I’ve toured (although they weren’t round then, that’s a more recent fashion). It does help, to fill in the massive space in the vestibule but it’s also for visitors to place down coats/gloves/hats/gifts etc. so that porters/footmen can take them to hang up etc. Today often used for coats and keys and shopping, too. We actually have a pretty small oval table in our tiny vestibule for that kind of thing (defs not the massive round centrepieces of the rich and famous lol)

The entry is my favourite. The navy blue with the dark brown wood is so classy.

I turned that apartment into a 4 bedroom home with bathrooms for everyone, huge dining room and kitchen, huge desk spaces in parent and teens. I love building homes in that apartment. Beautiful build.

I love this style of video showing off CC packs. I was on the fence on whether or not I would utilize the new Harrie Octave pack and after seeing this video I know I will use it. I also learned I was not using the brutalist bathroom set to its full potential! So many new and fun elements to play with. I love all Harrie cc. I always say when it comes to build/buy mode I will always have Harrie and Peacemaker-IC CC installed. The circular table in the front hall is for post (mail) and shopping/packages when the ladies of the house come in. Then the servants can unpack and put it all away.

Deli, I haven't been able to play sims on my laptop since 2019 as it's 8 years old and I'm too poor to replace it. I'm finally getting a new laptop this month, a gift from my Dad and OMG the excitement and REALISATION that I'm going to be able to play Sims again makes me want to cry hahaha.. I LOVE that you explain certain keys to move, re-size etc and that you give designing tips. Building intimidates me so these simple little statements, honestly make such a give me a breath of relief! It turned out so gorgeous, I too would like to live here!

Bone broth is awesome. I am actually eating it mixed in with macaroni cheese while I watch this! Been really helpful for gut health, which then helps keep my autoimmune condition under control.

I don't wanna trigger anyone and I'm so sorry for bringing this up but the vibe of this apartment is so like ussr minimalist interior (or soviet modern I guess?). Like the master bedroom with wooden wardrobes and the office in the beginning of the video especially. The white/light-colored walls with wood floor with such pattern, tall walls with that style of tall white doors. And like the marble, stone, furniture ect., so nice and fresh and full of air and space! I don't really know the actual arcitecture style name of that but this reminds me so much of that and the apartment looks so stunning and astonishing! SO I really love this renovation, and once again, sorry for bringing that up but this thought made me so happy for some reasons lol

I personally really liked the old way to review packs because it gave me a grand tour, if you like, and it gave me the opportunity to decide if I wanted it based on the items. The way you do it now is ok too, but I preferred to see everything.

I’ve always commented that creators should build with the cc pack that they’re reviewing and I’m glad your doing it. Even if they didn’t do a whole build but did rooms. But I don’t know why they don’t want to, it’s nice to see inspiration as a viewer and as a builder who also takes inspiration from KZfaqrs

I would have turned the desk in the office sideways.. so it faced the fire place and still allows you to look out the window.. and then set a couple of chairs in front of the desk so people can come into the office and plop down on the chairs and talk to whomever is at the desk.. it also allows them all good access to that book shelf as well.. plus, you have the windows open to walk up to and look out.. but I think you did a fabulous job Deli.. and I would be ok with downloading the apartment even without the mods.. and just furnish it myself.. filling in what is not there from the mod with regular sims content.. the layout I think is what was really nice..

Library assistant here: bookshelves are more practical if they’re no more than 70-85% full, or less of you’re also displaying non-book items on the shelves. Obviously you can fill your shelves at home more, but it’s easier to browse if the shelves aren’t too full.
