It's sometimes suprising that Maya runs a bunch of succesful businesses but is somehow missing some basic life skills. Such as using matches or knowing that eggs explode in the microwave. Now she knows.

Eggs dont blow up in the microwave if you only do it for 34 seconds. Used to do this regularly at work (burger shop) apparently it tasted fine 😅

@@Evadann Different microwaves cook at different levels, so might cause it to go wrong sooner. I got a new one recently and I have to adjust the cooking time by like 20% so it doesn't go too long for most foods

But fr there's so much good animal content and facts and science video here on yt, I feel like they're more fun that those traditionally big productions. Not that I don't like them tho, they get the best damn footage you could dream of. But yt is great for keeping up to date with info and creators fact checking each other *and* listing sources.

I feel your pain Maya. I blew up an egg in my microwave a few days ago. I was extremely tired when I did it so i laughed so hard at it. It is part of my plan to move away from meats and get my protein from cheese and vegetables.

Sooo… I’m not an expert by any means, but I’m pretty sure that you shouldn’t cook eggs in the microwave like that. As you saw, they can explode. And sometimes they don’t explode until *after* you’ve taken them out. So then you have tiny pieces of hella hot egg all over you, burning your face/arms/etc. I don’t want to be a know-it-all!! I just want you to be careful/safe!! So PLEASE reconsider how you guys cook your eggs at Alveus! Thanks for all you and your team do!!!

For the kibble dough, I would’ve put dry kibble in a sturdy bag and crushed it with a rolling pin; that would probably be more effective at turning it to dust. Or using a mortar and pestle

There's a video on strange aeon's channel of her and her girlfriend making fancy meals for their cats, and you could honestly translate some of the recipes into crow food. Because I would love to see more of this content! I also wish I could either help you cook the meals or make them since I've done a lot of misc kitchen work basically since I was a kid
