If the whole world is an ocean, delivering crates to the trader in Scrap Mechanic becomes a challenge of its own!
The Raft Mod for Scrap Mechanic adds a lot of features like sails, fishing, farming, and so on from Raft to Scrap Mechanic. Experience the game in a new way. Adds wedges to the mod, next day Scrapman: "welcome to raft Mechanic..." also more fishing in the next update so awesome!! also also, yeah vegetables get really big in the mod.

why would you need wedge platforms? the platforms float. there’s no point. just use regular wedges

Idea for the mod: glowbug tank to keep Clamdiving safe without the glitchyness. Can even work as a light motor.

I think you should build a floating city more or less, being pinned to a specific location can limitate you a lot but you can do faster trips, although with shorter range, but bringing your base with you gives you almost unlimited range although with lower speed

with large scale farming, it's usually easier to go to an island and just make a farm you don't have to purify the water, and you get tons of seeds on top of the crops, instead of having to turn 1/5th of your output into seeds

Should make sharks have a raid mechanic so they attack the raft in mass if your growing crops on your boat.

A stationary port base would be great and very convenient, but a full raft base is just so cool

Nice Video again! Also is it just me, but I have the nagging suspicion that the sharks only attack the outermost parts of the raft... So you could have saved much on metal if you used normal bases in the middle and surround them with reinforced raft bases and/or Metal, wouldn't you?

I think you should build like a stationary base on an island like a port where you can store all your rafts cuz then your only limit is your resources and imagination but if you stay with the raft base your only limitation are the sharks, weight, resources and your imagination

Huge raft is sooo much better imagine like a sky scrapper it would be silly but maybe there is other ideas like making a fishing boat (I belive moonbo made a fishing boat look at that it looks very good)

You could add a new recipe for burned ember in which you put scrap wood in the craft bot and get burned ember in return the recipe could be a 10 scrap wood to get 5 burned ember

For the next update add magnets that would allow you to get blocks from far away.You could also make a dynamo that would generate electricity for electric motors when its moving underwater.

dr.pixel what if you add mode like hard mode 'the shark you will see them more and a bit less thrash but on like easy no sharks and more thrash and the boat will maybe more faster? idk i think it would just be cool if there were mode but what do you think?

think there will be a point where you need so many props that you'd need to build some kind of engine room around them? Also I couldn't see floating anchored bases being a thing without some kind of shark repellent added. at least for scaredy-cats like myself.

Sharks do eat other ones such as when one shark is bleeding they just go in and gobble it up.

How long did it take you to learn how to mod? Another question what code does scrap mechanic use? Because I really want to get into modding, I have already created a mod that I’m working on and I’ve even made a trailer for it you can go check it out at “Scrap Mechanic Mod Trailer (teaser)” if you want to check it out.

I can answer the second question and from all the videos ive seen it seems like Scrap Mechanic mostly relies on Lua but then again im not a modder so you should probably take this with a grain of salt

Would this be transferred to Custom Game's in the test beta? Would be better instead of going through the whole process of manually uninstalling and reinstall whenever I want to play different survival worlds.

@@Dr-Pixel I bet it is, and that's exactly why we need to have it. A year, or two, or five. It's worth a mode like this. Imagine all the possibilities it would add to the game. Literally a Sea of Thieves, but with our own ships... StillI'm sure it must be an awful lot of work...
