I finally decided to share this video because strangely enough when I miss my father, this reminds me of the final bond that he and I shared. We built bridges to each other's hearts. I delivered the eulogy for my father, James Albert Cutler, whose nickname was Snowball. It was my last opportunity to publicly honor him, and I am humbled that my family trusted me with this enormous responsibility. The eulogy was delivered August 23, 2020 in Brooklyn, NY at the historic Wayside Baptist Church, where the late Reverend Dr. Joe L. Parker served as pastor, and the current pastor is Pastor M. Zidde Hamatheite. My father served in numerous capacities but most notably as a trustee of the church. Dad died August 14, 2020; but it took several days to plan his funeral, as we were still in the middle of the Coronavirus (COVID19) pandemic and health crisis. We were allowed to fill the church to 25% capacity only, but due to the size of the church that was still a significant congregation of approximately 275.
This video is for the purposes of comment, news reporting and entertainment. (This is standard text, but there is NOTHING "entertaining" about delivering your father's eulogy.)
