Love the series! A tip for the frameworks: I don't actually think you benefit from the framework if you change the tech level. The 10% speed increase is mostly from having the same features as the predecessor. However, if you update the tech level of the software that the framework was originally developed on, then the tech level of the framework increases. This is a really good way of keeping the frameworks relevant.

I always thought hype was to prevent you losing followers after a press release/build. Is there something else I missed? How I've used it is when the follower numbers plateau and just begin to dip, I hype. I also put out press build as late as possible but with enough time to pull in a few extra followers, because why send a buggy build to the press as a review copy? I'm not entirely sure if it affects their rating or not.

No no, you're not missing anything. But while you're gaining followers nobody works on hype, so there's no harm in running it the whole time! I just find it easier to be able to see the numbers. I don't believe a buggy build effects the press build, but I'm not sure on that. I just know by the time the hype drops down to almost 0% my software should have most of the bugs sorted, or at least enough of them!

Can you not drop the helicopter and use trucks to transport the printed goods ? Would it be more cost effective that way??

It might be, but I really don't want to use deals too much to generate money, I more just want the rep. Plus the helicopter sort of future proofs the design a little :D
