I have the same laptop. Unfortunately i spill some water on it mistakely on its keyboard. I switched it off immediately and holded it upside down and kept it over a towel for some time. After a while i opened it and found some droplets below the keyboard. I cleaned it. Also kept it unattended for 2days.i switched it on and everything seems working fine. But the laptop became slower than usual. What can i do to solve this??

i removed all screws and disk slot to take off the back cover but it's stuck like there's another hidden screw, the back cover won't come off. please help?

No, only 2 SATA slots (one is taken by CD ROM)

yes you can, I did such thing in my 3576, it works perfectly, Ubuntu launches in 20 seconds.

I had done this with my 3567. Instead of replacing the HDD, I used a caddy for HDD(replaced the CD ROM) And Added SAMSUNG 860Evo as Internal SSD. Now I'm using both ...SSD(500GB)+HDD(1TB).

@@SanjeevKumar-rc5dm the space of the CD rom is huge for an SSD. Did you need any special case for it ? If yes can you send me a link or at least can you tell me how you call the thing so I can search it ? Thanks a lot!!!

@@vaggelismanousakis6147 search for Caddy or Second HDD caddy. It is a part like cdrom in which you can place your Harddisk. And put it in the place of CD ROM.

This laptop always make fan noise, it's common issue for everyone. I think it's manufacturer defect by default

No sound at all. That means your laptop is getting heated up or using more cpu resources. Open your laptop and clean it especially fan and vent. If its more than 3yr old replace the thermal paste (dont do it yourself unless you have experience). Lastly, go to dell website and there is an option to run online troubleshoot. It will check each and every components of your laptop. All the best.

U mean bios?? I assume your laptop is not switching on but just a second it will on and off also no display. If this is your case. Then open the back side of your lap and remove the cmos battery. It is easy to remove. And after that switch your ram slots then switch it on. Bios will force reset and your lap will be on. Now turn it off and return the cmos battery. All good.
