Hi! I solved the same problem in my INSPIRON 15R 5521 using this tutorial. I tested the same places in the motherboard and i got the same volts. The only diferent thing is that I didn´t use this programer, I used: Usb Ch341a 24/25 Eeprom Bios programmer, that I bougth online, that is a cheaper programmer. The spec of my BIOS is: cFeon Q32B-104HIP AJP916C4 1249EMA. Is a 25 series chip, that is well known as: en25q32b. IMPORTANT: In specifications of Usb Ch341a 24/25 Eeprom Bios programmer appear the en25q32, but mine was en25q32b. The difference is the "b" at the end, but I didn´t have any problem to flash it with the bios file that I found online for free, you can find it as: Dell Inspiron 15R-5521 VAWO1 LA-9101P Rev 1.0(A00) DIS Bios +EC +KBC I used the 4MB file. I didn´t desolder the chip like the video, I just used the gripper that was included in the Usb Ch341a 24/25 Eeprom Bios programmer, this was much easier to do it. @@lnear619 Hi man! I´m very happy that my situation is useful for you. The programm that I used is called: CH341A Programmer. I found it in this tutorial: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pdaiqbt0v9-VmYk.html In that tutorial gives the software and the ".bin" you can find using the name that I´ve just given you in the first comment.

I want your expwrt advice on this!!! I have a dell 3521 laptop which is old. And I am converting into a gaming box to play on my tv. As dell laptop cannot run without working sceen panel. My screen is somewhat fine and when system boots it first searches internal display and then it displays on external tv through Hdmi I want to ask if I just remove the small board attached on the display screen and connect it with my laptop with attaching the entire glass panel , will it work? I just want to make a small gaming box withour dell glass screen and attach it with tv hdmi.

According to your video PL500, PC500, PC501 junction voltage is 1.5V. But when I measure it in my motherboard it is 13.54V. Other side of PL500 have 1.06V. correct

Mine had the same problem: a continuous steady single beep and a black screen. Got BIOS flashed by a professional. After that it came back to life and used it for about an hour. But upon restart, the same problem came again. What could be the problem? Could it be the motherboard?
