This piece of hardware have Class 3 UEFI(no CSM), does not support Windows 10 x86 bit BOOT. But you can trick it with an USB pendrive.
Works only in Legacy mode and MBR settings.

Press Start button, type UAC and Change User Account Control settings will appear. There pull the lever down to Never Notify. that simple

Boa tarde, consegui resolver esse problema. O windows só carrega se o pendrive estiver espetado. O que eu fiz, apertei a tecla F12 quando aparecer as opções de boot selecionei a opção "Supprt Assist Os Recovery" no meu caso precisei fazer o dowloand desse programa , após finalizar o dowloand ira aparecer alguma opções, fui na opção "Redefinir" ai irá abrir a tela para escolher a versão do windows, será feito o dowloand e instalação do windows sem precisar usar o pendrive.

Isso só é possível se for uma partição de recuperação do Windows no SSD. que o Windows é muito antigo, as próximas 2-3 semanas farão inúmeras atualizações

Ive got this unit and exactly the same happens when i try to load win10 onto a HDD is there not a way of installing Windows without the need of a flash drive? Also when i leave my USB in it just goes to install again. Any ideas TIA

Hi, this maschine is not built to run Windows x86. You need Windows x64. See link from description, there is link for Windows x64

Hi, I don't know, I did not try that method. USB is way faster and I always download latest Windows version from Microsoft site.

Si instala Windows 10 x86, no hay nada que pueda hacer. Esa computadora está diseñada para ejecutar Windows 10 x64 y no es necesario ocupar un puerto USB.

Hi, when you say "turn on" you actually mean "not enter Windows"? As I said at 2:51, Windows x86 woks only with USB pendrive connected in USB

Hi, far as I know, Dell have some BIOS password reset tool. You can check warranty on Dell site with device service tag

I've tried everything i have exact the same version bios as you exact the same pc, every setting i tried ahci on off, everything. Windows x86 new version, old version rufus mbr. Everything but it doesnt work. Maybe you forgot to show some settings in bios :/

Hello, I worked 3 days to find the correct configuration so I can install windows on it, I guaranteed I filmed everything needed to work. Someone else complained here that he did everything and that it didn't work. Just to be sure you checked, machine will work only if you leave USB pendrive with Windows connected to USB.

@Susan Ward if Windows is installed on the HDD, it must start automatically. but I'm pretty sure you're looking at the totally wrong video, here I show how to install Windows x86, which is absolutely not normal on this PC. It is normal to install Windows x64, see the second link at this video.

@Susan Ward It's quite complicated, the SSD could be MBR or GPT formatted, combined with Windows 10 x64 or Windows 10 x86 problems can certainly appear... if we also add the GPT or MBR formatted USB stick, it's already very complicated to explain. The basic idea is to watch 2nd, make the BIOS settings as shown there. Then make a USB stick with Windows 10 x64 formatted GPT (with Rufus). It must work. The computer in the video was not mine, I just serviced it, for this reason it is difficult for me to explain several situations.

If you need Windows 10 x86, as i show at minute 2:51, Windows will not boot without USB plugged in. Due class 3 UEFI 4:01. You can install Windows 10 x64 GPT. Link how to is under at video description

I'm pretty sure that this video does not apply to you, it is for Windows x86 MBR. If You really need 32 bit Windows, then USB pendrive is not prepared correctly, very possible to be GPT mode or Windows x64 on it. In this case you must configure BIOS oposite as I did

Meaning that you did not watch all video. Windows 10 x86 will work ONLY with USB flash drive connected to PC.

my optiplex 3070 (small/same as your model) boot up to windows without the need of usb..... it worked like a normal cpu.... but im having problems with my optiplex 3070 (tower type cpu) w/c needs usb to boot up to windows... do you have any suggestions pls?

if you have intalled Windows 10 x64, yes, it's normal to work without USB drive. i'm not sure if tower type have same BIOS version. or you try to install Windows 10 x86?

@@crististreulea bro, i used x64.... my mistake was i used a usb bootable installer in MBR format on a GPT hdd.... i had to convert my HDD to MBR during windows installation, and it worked just fine.... and doesn't need the usb during start up....

Meaning that You have setup wrong the BIOS. I'm not lying, You don't know how You use that machine. I have 2 videos with The same computer, when I install Windows 10 x64 and Windows 10 x86 with full of detalies.

Getting into bios on a Dell takes a quick hand. You can't wait for the post screen, like on most PC's, you have to start tapping F2 before it pops up. I thought it was broken but figured this out.

Looks good. I will try this tomorrow. I do have couple of questions: 1. I think I already tried this but when PC restarts, it starts with Windows setup again. What to do? 2. This USB drive is just for booting purpose yes? All the normal operations are done on SSD only? Will it affect any performance of Windows?

1. Set from BIOS to start from SSD 2. Yes, for boot only, everything will run from SSD. Performance is not affected.

Hi, different machine, different BIOS... Most likely you will not be able to install a 32 bit Windows on your computer

Você não pode ficar sem memória USB, esse é exatamente o objetivo deste clipe, é para Windows 10 x86 MBR. Não é recomendado de forma alguma. Mas você pode instalar o Windows 10 x64 GPT e não precisa de memória USB para inicializar, recomendado.

Hello, I have a dell optiflex 3080 computer. The computer has Windows 10 x64 operating system. I can't make this computer x86 windows 10. I cannot view advanced boot settings. When I format the disk as GPT-FAT32 it sees it but does not boot. When I do NTFS-MBR it doesn't see the disk at all. Can you help me ?

Hi, this optiplex 3070 was not my machine, I only have it for 3 days to make it work with Windows x86. Yes, it took me 3 days to make it work. I made bootable USB drive with Rufus in MBR. I don't know if it was NTFS or Fat32 formated. Also I don't know if 3070 have same BIOS as 3080.

Si no les funciono, pruebe instalando Windows desde UEFI, configurando a rufus en GPT, ya que este computador soporta este tipo de formato, además este computador ya cuenta con TPM 2.0 por lo que puede instalar sin ningún problema Windows 11.

This video is for windows 10 32bit. This machine is not intended to install 32bit Windows.

@@Frissdas1207 did you watch all video? At minute 4:00 I said that this hardware is no longer support 32bit Windows. I have a client who still use an old software that only work on 32 bit Windows. That's why I made this video, to help if someone need... But this machine is made to work with Windows x64

@@mhikzjjr7241 after first restart, USB drive is not needed anymore, you can remove it. If you do that and it say there is no boot device, than something is wrong on BIOS settings.
