This is a Dell Optiplex 7010 desktop computer. Spec is Intel i5 3470 which is socket 1155, 16gb ddr3 1600mhz ram, 500gb hdd. This is an overview of the system as it is at the moment. Next video will show the upgrades and benchmarks.

It's a great machine...socket 1155 really does have an excellent cpu upgrade path. It will even take a low profile gpu (as in this machines case).

Thanks! To be honest I'd stay away from w11 for a while. It's new and not all issues have been resolved.

Nice video. I've seen this on the used market but the PSU and the connector is always a downer for me. Have you ever tried one adapter for the most common PSUs like Corsair Line? Those OEM ones are hard PSUs anyway.

Thanks. Never tried another psu apart from the oem one. These machines are designed for working long hours in offices so the psu is usually very reliable.

my bios says it was last updated in 2018, does it need to be updated?

There is no hdmi port..can we install hdmi port in it?? If yes how??

There is display port. You can get a cable which has display port one end and hdmi the other. Ebay has them cheap.

which gpu is better?amd r5 340x 2gb or the amd rx 6400.

6400 is better but much more expensive and will be bottle necked even by i7 cpu. Ensure it's the low profile version. Also depends on what your usage will be (gaming, production etc). Some games like Team Fortress 2, Zula and Valorant should be fine with r5 340x.

Hi do you mean cpu and gpu upgrade options? If yes...socket 1150 i7 would fit but check the motherboard as a bios update might be needed first. The gpu will be limited to low profile 1030 (ddr5 variant), gtx 1050ti, gtx 1650 and amd rx 6400.
