Samsung 28" 4K is my interest by now, I've received comments Samsung has experience and quality in displays manufacturing. Speakers: beause it would be good for some movies or videos, enterntaiment. Samsung: considered because graphic design. - some opinion? suggest . ?

Thanks man! Does this Dell monitor have speakers? I don't think so! I needed to connect external speakers to them. The Samsung you talked about should have speakers though. I can't really compare in person because I don't have the Samsung, but looking online the 2 look pretty similar in specs, but the Dell's design is a little more premium, and it has more ports, hence the higher price.

Thanks for your comment! I'm using the standard preset mode. i don't play aorund with the colors or go to sRGB. More often i use HDR for gaming and that's about it.

Weird... mine included 2 HDMI cables out of the box. But they're so thick and heavy i didn't use them :D

Hmm no, you need to hook it up to a PC or a phone (samsung Dex works) at the very least. You could try out that recently released Samsung Smart Monitor if you want it to function without a PC!

Hi, thanks for the response! I have allready ordered the Dell and I think about to use it as TV beside as Monitor for my Mac. Why it’s not possible? Audio out and hdmi in should work, isn’t it?

@@denizakalay4156 no problem! You can certainly use it connected to Apple TV. I thought you wanted go use it as a standalone without a connection to any device - that isn't possible .

For curiosity: why is a connection from monitor to Apple TV and from monitor to Soundbar not possible?

@@denizakalay4156 it's not possible if the audio signal is coming from Apple TV and the connection is from the monitor to the soundbar. Never tried it but I doubt the display acts as a pass through connection. Why don't you connect the Apple TV direct to the soundbar? Cos that's where the signal is coming from... my 2 cents.

It should! I don't have Apple products but as long as they have HDMI or USB C they should be good to go.

I have this monitor with a 2019 MBP and am about to return it because there is serious mouse lag. When I plug a windows into it, that lag goes away. Dell support said this is an Apple problem
