Hi!
No music. No talking. Just work.
If you are taking your DELL VOSTRO 1510 laptop apart be careful and wear an anti-static wrist band or use other anti-static device. If you need to change a LCD usually you don't have to take screen out of a laptop. You can leave it on a laptop and watch the last part of the video where I am taking LCD apart. If you need to change a keyboard, you don't have to take all bottom screws out. There are usually some marks, like a keyboard picture, on a case bottom. If you need to put a laptop back to work be aware of screws. They are different and you better remember or mark them somehow to insure that you will put them back in to a right place.
Some laptops I take apart first time, so don't be serious on my time and performance.
If something got broken - ooops, it's your fault.
Believe me, some parts in your laptop are already broken, you just don't see that.

Gracias a este video he podido arreglar mi vostro 1510. La pantalla parpadeaba constantemente. He podido desmontar la pantalla y he ajustado las conexiones. Ahora tengo un laptop funcionando correctamente. Muchas gracias.

I have a question. On this laptop, the Dell Vostro 1510, does the GPU and/or CPU have a thermal pad and/or thermal paste? Mine overheats a lot and I was going to reapply but Im not sure if its a pad or paste. If its a pad, what thickness should I search for when buying pads? Thank youu

not sure but when i opened it i think thermal paste on cpu a pad on gpu (open the laptop first its easy to see) ,but i replaced both with thermal paste from deepcool z5 maybe a late reply, think you have found out by now

Where are the speakers located? My one speaker on the left isnt working, though everything in this laptop is working perfectly fine, never had any issues since 2008 (year of purchase).

@@legaltable6081 initially due to back current from laptop the adaptor light was not turning on but now it is working and my laptop is not.... Seen some videos where they remove battery and press the power button on the laptop.... For a minute or less but in my case it is not working.. May be I will have to check the motherboard power circuit chip... Just saying... Or else Dell customer service is the last option here...

@@rvarghese3062 I would suggest check at a trusted local service store..Dell has stopped service this particular product for varied reasons..In any case even if they do..they would charge you exorbitantly.🤔

@@rvarghese3062 I believe the laptop.isnt booting..try reinstalling Windows afresh....should that help before taking it to a service station.. your laptop not working had left me concerned.😎🤔

Quick question, is the charger pin of this laptop any different than the the present day DELL charger pins? I know we have two diameters and this uses the bigger diameter but is the little pin inside any different? Thanks.

I don't remember different pins length. More important watt, current, power input/output. Some dells need bigger chargers and might throw an error because the charger is not enough. Etc. Otherwise in my memory if charger fits and output is correct - should be good.

@@regazzz Thanks for you reply. I just checked the charger port and it's actually different compared to present day Dell laptops. If you still have this model, could you pls check and tell me the model number of the charger? Thank you in advance.
