*Love it! Keeps the room very **Fastly.Cool** . The manual states it comes with a year warranty and 5 year part replacement. The compressor makes the typical sound...small price to pay for AC.*

Hello! We are so sorry that you are having problems with your Concept I fan! We are glad your dealer has be able to get your a replacement. A couple of things that you could try would be removing the glass shade and then running the fan. Perhaps the shade is contributing to the clicking noise. If this stops the noise, reposition the glass shade until the noise stops. You can also make sure the outlet box is secure and the hanger bracket is secure to the outlet box. We hope these tips help!

If i am using only the mnka air wall control, i don't need the reciber up in the canopu, right?

We have three concept 1 fans and love them. However 1 of the three fans makes clicking or clunking noises at speeds 2 or 3. At low speed, no noise. We had these installed by an electrician. I can't really tell if this is a fan problem or an installation problem. Our dealer has already obtained a replacement fan for us. But.... before we swap the whole thing out, can you think of anything or checklist we can go through to fix this. I did tighten the screws under the light fixture. Thanks

at 2:12 you need to add the instruction of loosening the two screws early. It's easy to make the adjustment if you have a six inch rod but almost impossible to do so with a three inch. Because of the two conical covers and the three inch gap... it gets extremely tight for that installation and if you haven't loosed the screws you need to get creative in doing so, without having to undo all your wiring, taking down your fan, etc... Suggestion: 1) before you hang the fan motor, remove the two screws on the mounting bracket that will support the top conical cover 2) once you get to the point of covering up the wiring and transmitter, use a thin item to identify the positioning of the bolt inserts (this if it's a 3 inch hanging rod... 6 inch should be super easy with the extra space) The manual doesn't go over this...and seeing as this video uses a six inch hanging rod, I'm sure the problem never came up.

here's another help... this video is about 1/2 or 1/3 as long as it should be. When people are putting up a ceiling fan, more instruction, clearer instruction (without skipping over items), is best. This helped me successfully install the fan (in 2 hrs) but I could have done it in one hour if the video had been more detailed. Though I won't look a gift horse in the mouth. Thanks.

My won't work at all. I have power to it but nothing comes on. Motor 1 to m1, motor 2 to m2, motor 3 to m3, black(hot) to black and white n to white. Nothing come on. Check wires with tester, it's beeping. All my other lights come on not the fan or fan light is working. 😤😤😤

I need to replace my minka air fan (stopped working completely after 3 years) but even though I have the power off the voltage detector flashes when I place it near the remote box. Am I safe to remove it anyway?

I have 2 hot wires (black and blue) so I can control light and fan at the wall. How do I connect the remote receiver to this since it only has 1 hot (black)?

Definitely turn off the power at the circuit breaker first. You can probably take this ceiling fan down in one piece. Remove the screws that hold the ceiling fan canopy to the ceiling. This will let the canopy slide down the downrod. You will then have to disconnect all of the wiring from the fan to the receiver and from the fan to the hanger bracket. Once the wires are all disconnected, lift up and rotate on the motor body of the fan so downrod & the hanger ball come out of the hanger bracket.

Install the fan with no problems. The fan runs at all speeds. But the light will not turn on. I dropped down the light fixture and check the connection. I then check the power at the receiver. The black wire going to the motor has power, the blue wire coming out of the receiver has power. At the light fixture connection their is no power.

Hey Guys, I have a Minka Aire fan and it has stopped responding to the remote. I can get the light to flash but not stay on or operate the blades. It started last night when I turned off the fan. The light flashed twice and now... nothing. Are there some trouble-shooting steps that I can take? I tried turning off the wall switch and holding the off button down while repowering up the wall switch. The light flashes and the blades try to start turning and then, again, nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have also changed the battery.

How do I get the glass off to replace the bulb? I am trying to loosen counterclockwise, but it won’t budge. Is there a trick?

I have the same issue with 1 year old Minka fan which looks the same as the one in video. I was able to turn counter clockwise but now it is turning counter clockwise with the rim it is hanging with. Does not make sense on how to take it out to remove and see why bulb turn on once in a while very intermittently

I had this same problem; the glass would not loosen. I finally managed to get it loose--or so I thought--but the mechanism twisted loose before the glass, and it evidently ripped the wires in the motor.

Very nice video! I have a Minka Concept that I need to replace the reverse capacitor in. They sent me the part but before I climb the 20 ft ladder, Can you go through the bottom of the fan to access that capacitor? Or does the whole fan need to come down?

Zack, how do you remove the fan blades from the slot to be able to replace with new blades? My Concept 1 is 9 years old and the white blades faded to a yellowish color. I'm trying to replace with new white blades.

Buy it! You will be amazed at how much air it moves and it is quiet!! I love the color and the simple lines of it! If you want a fan to move lots of air, just buy this fan!
