Can descaling be done before the machine shows the orange light?

The system lights the warning according to the lime content in the water as: SOFT MEDIUM and HARD, assigning a period of time to each of the three. If your water is SOFT or MEDIUM, and you want to soften before, mark your water as HARD, this way the system will notify you more frequently. Personally, I use osmosis water and avoid doing the descaling operation.

Had my delonghi dedica for 15 months now ...the orange light that indicates descaling still hasn't come on..😕

i don't know why to say... You can try do a descaling or wait and see... do you use it everyday?

It's because you don't use it often, or you make only 1-2 cups of coffee per day. Don't boder 😉

@@s.dimitrova2902 i dont have the dedica but planning to get it, If i dont use Its milk frother Will it also take longer for the machine to ask me decaling. For milk frothing i use the nespresso milk frother

I have been using it for a month, 4-5 cups a day and it started to blink . I am only using bottled water. isnt it a bit early?

@@eveserrahekim1102 We have had our machine for less than a month and make 3-4 coffees a day and it is now asking us to descale.
