If your cup is only half full when making coffee and the remaining water ends up in the collecting container or the coffee no longer tastes good, the brewing piston of your DeLonghi espresso machine may be leaking. The coffee is pumped through the brewing unit's brewing unit and directed to the coffee outlet at the front of the machine. The optimal coffee aroma can only be achieved with a functioning piston in the brewing unit. In this video I show you how to replace the brewing piston so that the machine works like new again.

Thanks for this detailed video !! Thanks to you I managed to solve my problem. I had bought the original spare part, but there was still water leaking. Thanks to you, I could see that the original part does not come with the o-rings ... I had to re-use the ones from the faulty part, but hopefully the problem did not come from them. Keep up the great work !!

Witam, mam problem w tym modelu ze cala woda leci do tacki po lewej stronie zamiast dyszami, zasylikonowalem łączenie ale nic nie dalo, sprawdzilem zaparzacz i termoblok, co moze byc przyczyna? Ekspres ma 5 lat, wymienic termoblok? Dodam ze na spieniaczu woda dziala ale tez troche cieknie

Hi, where does the steam come from? Check all Teflon tubes for calcification or blockage.

Did you replace the whole part like I did in my video? Check all connections thoroughly to ensure that they are properly connected.

@@yt.myworks I replaced the full part and ran it with the top off to see why it wasn't working and the water was going into the part but just spraying straight back out. No water was taken in and distributed to any part. Steam wand and coffee didn't work at all.

Witam, orginalny rozmiar to 3,85x2mm jest ale trudniej dostępny. Osobiście używam 4x2mm też pasuje.

Hello there. My maschine acts Weird. It gives some wet pucks, not super wet, but definitely wet. When I then try to descale the machine, most of the water runs out on the table ;( do you think it’s this part that are defect? Will I be able to see where it leaks, if I remove covers on the unit and try to run a descale? Of course I’ll be aware of electric shock.

Hello, you describe several problems that may have different causes. The wet puck indicates worn millstones or incorrectly adjusted grinder. Calcified heating casing can be responsible for water loss. And if the machine is more than four years old, then I generally recommend replacing the brew piston.

@@yt.myworksmaybe its calsified beating casing, where is that located? I havent touched the grinder. Its from december 2021. But we have very hard water with alot og calcium in it.

Good morning, My Jura 6Z is not working is having exactly the same problem that you described in the video " Jura Machine Doesn't Make Coffee - Water/Coffee Runs Directly Into the Drip Tray" , however the pin from the stepper motor of drainage valve is completely out, Does it have to be out or in with the power off? in your video it is in. Do you think this motor is jammed? how can it test it? Thank you for your help😀

Hi, when the machine is switched off, the valve is pushed out by the steel spring. In this state, the valve is closed. When the machine opens the valve, a loud clicking sound can be heard. Very often, the seals in the valve are worn out and the coffee flows into the drip tray. You can replace the gaskets or the entire valve with a new one.

Thanks for the quick reply, is there any chance for me to send you some pictures? The pin I am taking about is not the one in the valve, is the little stepper motor shaft, the one that press the valve pin. In your video when you remove the brewer unit I can see that the motor shaft is in not out. In my case it is out with the machine disconnected. When the motor shaft is out then it press the valve pin and hot water goes to the drain when it is in then the valve pin is depress, it opens the valve and the hot water goes to the brewer unit, is this right?? 🤔🤔Thank you.🙏

Dzien dobry. Mruga mi ciagle lampka poziomu wody. Po kazdym plukaniu i zrobieniu kawy to sie pojawia. Trzeba przekrecic pokretlo spieniacza tam i z powrotem aby zgaslo. Co moze byc przyczyną? Dzieki z gory za odpowiedz. DeLonghi Esam magnifica 3000b

Witam, to oznacza że do układu wody dostaje się gdzieś powietrze. Sprawdź najpierw uszczelkę zbiornika wody w miejscu połączenia z obudową maszyny. Zbiornik musi dokładnie dolegać do obudowy. Usuń ewentualne zanieczyszczenia, często zbiera się w tym osad z wody.

Hello, sometimes the brewing piston can no longer be repaired if it is too badly damaged. On the other hand, replacement is much easier than repair.

Ich habe mein Gerät erst seit 3 Wochen. Auf einmal tröpt das Wasser nur noch plus ich habe Wasser im Auffangbehälter. Ich habe weiches Wasser 7,6 dH und ich benutze ein Filter. Ist wahtscheinlich wie hier an der gleichen Stelle defekt. Ich mach mir die Arbeit aber nicht. Auch, wenn hier alles 1A erklärt wurde, das sollte nicht so schnell passieren. Sehr ausführliches Video, Danke.

Witaj. Mój ekspres DeLonghi Magnifica S robi kawę lecz jest bardzo słaba nawet przy ustawieniu mocy na max. Wody leje tyle ile powinien nie ma wycieku do tacki z fusami jak na filmie. Czy przyczyną bedzie infuzor? Czy może być duża uszczelka na tłoku? Ewentualnie czy te infuzory co są na aukcjach do magnifica s pasują do wszystkich niezaleznie od modelu Ecam? Dzieki za odpowiedź pozdrawiam.😊

Witam, przypuszczam że przyczyną problemu będzie za krótkie mielenie ziaren które powinno trwać około 6-7 sekund. Polecam wykonanie czynności z mojego innego filmu: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/hbCHmtiEzN_KZJc.htmlsi=8bJ8E-Ovn1ob9pCU. Rzecz w tym aby zaparzacz i cała reszta dały się łatwo poruszać bo w innym przypadku ekspres redukuje ilość mielonej kawy. Uważaj aby starannie złożyć zaparzacz to jest bardzo ważne: kzfaq.infomOxrMerZSFo?si=WGvZDaVGl9IUiG__ Dalsze wskazówki później. Pozdrawiam

W moim Delonghi Dinamica właśnie pojawiła się woda w pojemniku na fusy i mniejsze kawy były zaparzane. Poczytałem trochę i zauważyłem, że po wyjęciu zaparzacza w infuzorze jest woda. Sitko w zaparzaczu jest czyste. Ekspres na gwarancji. Półtorej roku nic się nie działo.

Nie może być wody w infuzorze (przezroczysta część). To oznacza że pojawiła się nieszczelność. Po półtorej roku nie powinna pojawić się taka usterka chyba że ekspres używany był bardzo intensywnie np. 10 Tyś. kaw.

Good video, except that i must have broken the connector to the motherboard as this cannot be fitted back. Just falls off. Pity no attention was aimed at that. All i can see in the video is that it's pulled off
