An indoor grill is perfect when you can’t stand the heat outside. This grill comes with the base that stays cool during cooking. Removable drip tray, non-stick dye cast aluminum grill plate, control socket, tempered glass lid, lid knob and detachable temperature controlling plug. You can use the dial to control temperature from 1 low to 5 max heat. This unit is for indoor use only, not outdoors. Wash all parts except the plug in warm soapy water and dry. The cooking plate is dishwasher safe.

To clean, make sure the unit is is off and completely cool. Remove the temperature control and wipe it off with a damp cloth and dry. The base, lid, drip tray and spatula can be washed in hot soapy water and dried. The cooking plate is dishwasher safe or hand wash. I think the drip tray is dishwasher safe, looks like they missed a few words in the cleaning instructions.
