This saved me the cost of a new one! I'm impatient with gadgets and was hovering over the 'buy now' button Amazon but found this when carrying out a final search. The door does not close very easily when you insert the duds tray. I rested the duds tray on a folded up piece of kitchen roll to get it to the right height to close. Switched on the power and it reset fine.

We use it for about three people everyday in the morning. The taste and quick brew is one of the reasons we like it so much. There are so many choices of brands of coffee that we would grab what was on sale and test the different brands from there. I would definitely recommend trying different brands of coffee to find the ones you like the most because there are brands that quite frankly taste horrible.

I had EXACTLY this problem and this video explained how to fix it. I couldn't fully click the door closed, but by manually holding it shut and turning on the power, it was sufficient to reset the position.

What if my machine does not stop water output no matter what the water amount button is set to? A second click on the brew button does stop it.

brand new DeLonghi Magnifica S Smart Fully Automatic. infuser stuck from second 1 after priming. anyway to hard reset? I don't want to take this apart. option return to costco.

Help! Infuser stuck down, so I can't close the door with the tray in. If I remove the tray, and turn it on all the lights flash, and then only the full tray light stays on and the machine does not turn on. ???
