Delta Force gun sounds are waaay better

The SVD in Delta Force is just straight money. They put a LOT of love and care into the weapon models, textures, animations and sound.

I like that there appears to be a greater accuracy penalty when hip firing in Delta Force with no center aim point in the reticule. it will be interesting to to see how much various attachments change things and what the weapons sound like out in the open.

Battlefield 2042 unfortunately hasn't aged well in terms of the visuals. It still feels like it's missing 2-3 layers of visual polish. Delta Force being a good game (fingers crossed) can only be a good thing for Battlefield because this franchise desperately needs competition

The Animation from Delta Force looks clean. Reminds a bit of MW 2019 and i really like that! Can't believe they want to bring this game for free. Looks better than the fps games we have now.

When shooting the Desert Eagle in Delta Force you can see it's a big ass power, meanwhile in BF2042 it nearly looks like a 9mm

If only we could have gotten ONE major game release that actually had soul and character. We can already tell Delta Force will be a lot but will not be delta force or stay even remotely themed like it. It will slowly get more and more ridiculous skins and anime bullshit to the point you don't even recognize it anymore. You want to know why Battlefield 1 was so awesome? Because it fully immersed you into the time era but still made a fun gameplay loop that took creative liberties without feeling out of place. Realism and immersion / authenticity and two different things.

2:40 I think that the PP-29 Bizon would be a closer comparison to the Vityaz, the Aks-74u uses a rifle round while both the Vityaz and Bizon use pistol rounds

2042's M5A3 is based on the Sig Sauer XM7, so it should've been compared to Delta Force's M7.

God I really hope the next battlefield has better animation direction. 2042 felt like “we have MW2019 at home” If DICE doesn’t have the systems in their engine for the complexity of 2019’s animations then I would love for them to stick with BF1’s style.

The Delta Force game seems to be getting a lot of attention from people who hate the direction Battelfield has gone lol. It will be funny if Dice nails the next battlefield and people just forget about Delta Force haha.

Animations and reload sounds are better in Delta Force, but the firing sounds are mostly better in 2042. Firing sounds from some guns are better in Delta Force but it's very inconsistent

2042 looks like the FTP game lol. The DF guns sound 1000x better and they also have a recoil patter to learn.

Nothing can beat the battlefield scale, vehicle gameplay integration and thematic atmosphere .

Damn guy why empty reload both times. We didn't get to see any reloads with a bullet in the chamber. It's unfortunate cause they have different animations than empty reloads

Wow, bf sound design and weapon handling is far superior. General firing, echos, each clips that falls makes a sound, in delta just when the mag is empty it ques the sound. Even the way the character holds the weapon makes more sense if bf. I guess they really take those details seriously. That said, overall gameplay, stability, feature, content, updates etc is way more important than maximum gun realism.

delta force looks like a literal fork of bf2042 wouldn't be surprised if they somehow stole the source code and altered the game because it looks like bf2042 in another universe.

I do prefer the 2042 full auto shotgun. Just looks a lot better. Also I think I noticed a visual glitch when ADSing with the Deltaforce SVD. Looks like the gun kinda clips through your face with the recoil

I prefer 2042. The sound has a more consistent style though I do prefer some sounds here and there. I also never liked the animation style MW2019 pioneered with lots of gun shake and violent bursts of speed, I like the more ryhthmic movement you'd see in older FPS

The gunplay looks a lot more punchy in Delta Force. I always complained that in 2042 the guns feel dull and weak. This also negatively impacted gameplay as you could practically crossmap-laser anyone with a 7.62 AR, nit very fun ir realistic. But DF seems to be doing a better job.

Delta Force weapons animation looks too much like COD MW. As with BF2142, they also create and do not copy the work of other games.

It's so sad that BF animations have become so fucking janky lately. BFV was the last good one. The good devs left, now we got some stank dog doodoo water devs who think that adding a scoreboard is too demanding. Also Delta Force's guns feel like MW19 guns which I really love.
