Thanks for the review. I’ll be flying Delta One from JFK to Gatwick in October, so this gave me a preview of what I might expect. It will be my first time flying in Delta One or any first class, so I’ll looking forward to it. Your review makes Delta One look really nice even on an older Delta One plane.

Thank you! You’re going to love it - it’s usually a very relaxing and private-ish space. Also remember as an international Delta One ticket holder you have access to the Delta Sky Club lounge - always amazing - which is very nice if you have longer layovers or if you get to the airport early. If there’s a long line at the Sky Club (JFK usually always has lines) you can just mention you have Delta One ticket and they’ll bring you right in. I’d love to hear your thoughts on the Delta One flight when you get back. :) Safe travels!

@@clausstimpfig3803You’re right. They do have their Delta One and Premium Select seats - I’ve found the Premium Select to be close to domestic First Class service.

thnx. Meal was only average. No luxury. No style. Delta has no international first class. Flew with them on the MD-11 in first with caviar and vintage french champagne.....

F/As are bad. No foreign language skills like French or German. Delta was good when they took over PanAm. Altogether with the excellent PanAm crew. They had style. Now they are run down. i would refuse to fly any U.S. carrier. I really do prefer AMTRAK travelling statesside. Try Singapore, British, Air France they all got FIRST CLASS not only businessclass. @@trishatravelstheworld
